“I am sick of people spouting against immigration reform when they have no PRACTICAL solutions to propose.”

(1) Mandatory E-Verify for all job applicants.

(2) Civil liability and criminal penalties for any employer who hires non-Verified labor.

(3) E-Verify or mandatory proof of legal residence for any welfare application.

To my knowledge, Rand Paul has not publicly supported ANY of these three “Practical Solutions.”

Have you read the news lately? Obama/Holder are in charge!
What did they do when Arizona passed a law DUPLICATING federal law so they could enforce it in state of AZ?

Holder/Obama sued the state of Arizona!

This is the problem with dreamers. They dream of of how things should be done. They dream of purity.

As Margaret Thatcher said, you have to win the argument first, then you win elections.

Conservatives lost more seats in 2012 because they keep talking how things should be. When you lose election, your agenda loses in total and complete.

What Rand Paul is proposing sets up for reducing the 70% Hispanic vote for democrats. It is a practical and clever proposal. Take it from me, I have gone through immigration for a decade before I was awarded US citizenship. I understand better than most here how clever Rand’s proposal is.

Sen. Paul has indeed endorsed your point 3. He wants a database of all guest workers, and wants that database checked whenever someone applies for welfare.
