If you look at this guy’s legacy through the lens of ‘retribution’, then everything makes sense. Start with sending Churchill’s bust back, and move on from there. There’s a piece in the editorial section of the WSJ about our new Labor secretary that is particularly revealing.
Never mind ‘redistribution’, just ‘retribution’. The USA must revert to the mean, or worse, for its sins. It’s gains, ill gotten. This is his legacy. Here’s yet another way you can look at it - federal debt is a form of white enslavement. As long as blacks especially, but minorities in particular, benefit from it, the plan works. The war on business is real, but it isn’t a war on business, it’s a war on white people.
This is why the GOP is having such a tough time with this - they don’t have the race card, and even if they played it, the media would laugh them out of the building.
It’s why conservatism is working at the state level, but not at the federal level. ‘Republicans are White Devils’ was the theme of the last two election cycles. We nominated the poster child for that in Mitt Romney. The Godfather’s guy wouldn’t have got the attention he did had this not been very readily understood within the GOP.
