Decomposed Chavez body may be too dead to go on eternal display
After Hugo Chavez's death last week, government officials revealed that the late Venezuelan leader's body would be embalmed and displayed "for eternity." Just like Han Solo, but with less chance of him waking up again. However, the grisly plans may now not happen at all. According to Russian and German scientists who are experts in the field of embalming (what a job), his body is now a bit too gross and decomposed. "They tell us its very difficult because the process should have started earlier," said acting President Nicolas Maduro. "Maybe we cant do it. We are in the middle of the process. Its complicated it's my duty to inform you."

I think they were confusing the situation with the incorruptible saints, who are incorrupt due to divine forces.
Or maybe Snow White?
dontcha just hate it when that happens ????
I’m an optimist.
If life gives you rotten Chavez’s, make glue.
Disgusting pics on this thread. However the title is uncommonly funny. Too dead.
Put him in a bucket and let him decay into Hydrogen sulphide slop!
They should display the rotting carcass. It would be emblematic of what socialism makes of a nation.
Plant the subhuman POS commie scumbag already, so we can line-up to whiz on his grave.
Call Madam Toussoud’s (sp) wax museum and they’ll whip up a Chavez for you.
How long was the Chavez carcass decaying in Caracas before someone had the brilliant idea to pickle him for ‘eternity’? Hugo has been dead a lot longer than admitted and is looking more and more like a rainbow.
Egads!!!!!
I’ve seen this pic before.*Shudder*
Now look up ‘Wurms Man’ and let me know what you thought.
It’s pretty bad.
Hugo was rotten to the core...
Put him in a bucket and let him decay into Hydrogen sulphide slop!
What goes around comes around—but your stench is real, you Commie scumbag
So can our fricking CIA or the Russian KGB or somebody find out the day Chavez actually corked off?
Because when/if they do, it will directly impact the survivability of his chosen commie successor.
Libertad para Venezuela!
Well, that’s just too bad.
They could still use him for compost.
Chavez in that coffin looks younger & thinner than his last known pic in public.
He probably saw the handwriting on the wall & had himself pre-posed & photographed while he was still sucking air & stealing the people’s oxygen.
“Take a deep breath, Commandante, now hold!”
Lookin' good!
Any competent taxidermist should have no problem skinning and mounting his carcass.
That's probably the real cause. He died, and the people in the know couldn't decide what to do. Eventually, the opposition demanded to see Chavez, alive or dead - and mysteriously he "died" the very same day.
If he truly died just a few days ago, his body would be frozen, and then it would be in good condition for a long time. Since it isn't, perhaps it already spent too much time in the freezer. The embalmers instantly saw that.
On the other hand, this is for better. Nobody needs mummies of their idols. They only create problems when the society moves on. Chavez will be buried, as it is appropriate, and the Venezuelan society gets another chance to decide how it wants to live - this time without the overwhelming incumbent, who was a talented speaker. As I understand, Chavez's VP is nowhere that good, and he will lose. The elections will be on April 14, just one month from now.
Dat FAt FK died in Januweary .....
WTF? Did they put a wig on him?
You know what they say, you can never be too rich or too dead, unless you’re a Dictator.
Ahhh. The Carcass in Caracas... a fine appellation for the dictator.
Well hell,
Even dead and partially decomposed Hugo looks better than J. Kerry does.
Yeh thats what happens when you die a couple of weeks before the death announcement.
It will be fine if they follow up with a quarterly mold scraping.
Definately which is why I find not only this but lenin offensive
Best headline ever.
