She says she’s not a sixth grader. Right. More like kindergarten level. A sixth grader most likely knows more about firearms than she ever will.

Your getting in to my theory about women like Fienstein, Clinton, Mukulsky (sp?), Boxer, etc.

I got some blow back on this the last time I wrote about my theory but it seems to hold true. The theory is that some of these women in positions of power have two issues. One, they have leftist leanings and two, they have had their plumbing dry up. The theory is that the latter makes the former worse. IE: Once they can no longer have any real pleasure to speak of they replace that with the pleasure they get from being NAZIS trying to rule others.

This, of course, is not s problem with conservative women because once they get along later in life they get better with age.

“The clash was reminiscent of an exchange Feinstein had nearly two decades ago with the since disgraced Larry Craig.”

Note how he’s been renamed as the “disgraced Larry Craig”, Wikipedia still just calls him “Larry Craig”. A reasonable question to ask her is whether she’s ever considered Teddy Kennedy as “disgraced”, or does she consider the death of a mistress to be a lesser event than a toe tapping.
“(Craig left the Senate after being charged with soliciting gay sex in a men’s room. Craig is now defending his use of campaign funds to pay for his criminal defense.)”
First question: What is so bad about gay sex? Her party is practically demanding it as a requirement to graduate high school. But even more important, why does it matter when it comes to gun control? Also, what law did Craig break by using campaign funds? To me it only means, unlike Kennedy and most Dems, he never ENRICHED himself while in office. Does she have a problem with that also?

“Feinstein said children at Sandy Hook elementary in Newtown, Conn., were “dismembered” by an assault weapon.”

I thought she was a Senator, not a coroner? In any case, I think most people realize that a lot of kids were killed there…so why is this needed in the report?

“The Stanford-educated Feinstein said she “is not a sixth-grader,””

Great for Wifi, but how about Cruz. His education is not exactly University of Phoenix himself. How come we only hear about her?

“…and said her bill specifically exempts 2,271 weapons. “Is this not enough for the people of the United States?” she asked? “Do they need a bazooka?””

I guess that means she would be JUST FINE if Republicans deemed 2,271 specific books as acceptable for kids, and banned all other books? I mean, do they really need to have access to “The Joy of Sex” while in third grade (and don’t laugh, she’s not alone, the librarians will fight to the death to make sure your kids can read that book, and books far more worse…not to mention pediatricians and many, many, many others that have access to your kids).

“But (Senator) Patrick Leahy (suggested) that Texas education boards banned books.”

Sorry, but as far as I know, they choose which books the state will PAY FOR, just like you do when you go to Amazon.com. I don’t believe that they have the power to literally ban books (I think that has to be done at the local level)…but I would still be ok with ADULTS overseeing what kind of smut the liberals try to force upon our kids.

“Cruz took offense at the idea that Texans don’t read. Feinstein, who just won a civility award, was clearly offended by Cruz’s tone and method.”

I think one can safely say that VERY FEW national Democrats think that Texan kids can read (or at least read English). And what the heck is a “civility award”, and I guess that Cruz hasn’t won a thing, or it would also be mentioned…in the interest of equal time.

To become a sixth grader, ideally you have to be smarter than a fifth grader

Um . . . . . . . I’m lost. I don’t understand what brought on your post. My post to Vaquero was an attempt to help him understand why there are laws that would prevent Senator Cruz from being able to run for POTUS because he does not meet the requirement of NBC.

With respect to your argument about laws and how they have changed over the past century, I have no comment other than to say that it is ultimately OUR fault that judges and legislators have been allowed to twist the judicial system into knots.

We OWN this government lock, stock and barrel and until we all understand what that means and we all wrest control of our government back from the left, judicial activists and leftist legislators will continue to make our judicial system a mess.

We are already seeing the consequences of giving certain people an excuse for violating our laws. Those people are illegal aliens and, not only do our elitist politicians not want them prosecuted under our existing laws, they want to reward them for ignoring and violating our laws by making them citizens. This is what we are perpetrating everytime some politician talks about “comprehensive immigration reform”.

And, that approach to our system of laws is slowly bringing our society from an ordered and responsible one to a system in which too many people hold our legal system in disdain. From here, our next stop is chaos!

I am so glad Ted Cruz defeated David Dewhurst and was elected my senator. Dewhurst would be a back bencher the entire 6 years of his term.

Feinstein is a moron and a commie. In all of her study she still can’t grok the phrases “shall not be infringed” or “shall make no law.” Bazookas are not firearms and, AFAIK, ARs aren’t used by the military either.

How dare this upstart newbie lecture a veteran Senator with 20 years experience in subverting the constitution?

Let me tell you something Boss, I was darn happy to vote for Senator Cruz in the primary and general elections. We need 50 or more conservative senators who have his understanding of the Constitution, not RINOS like John McPain.
