Graham gets primary support from business, Bloomberg
The Daily Caller ^ | 03/13/2013 | Neil Munro

South Carolina’s embattled Sen. Lindsey Graham is getting some home-state aid from New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

He’s also getting support from one of President George W. Bush’s cabinet secretaries, Carlos Gutierrez, whose business-backed group, Republicans for Immigration Reform, launched a $60,000 TV ad campaign to help Graham get through the GOP’s 2014 primary.

The support is being sent because Graham is drawing criticism for his effort to pass a controversial immigration bill that would provide a path for 11 million illegal immigrants to become citizens, and eventually help them bring their relatives into the country.

And so it begins!

Money is flowing from both sides in Graham's re-election bid.

Glad to see Graham has support New York Mayor Michael "Nanny" Bloomberg.

I'm sure La Raza will throw in a few 100K for him too.

Is Graham welcome at CPAC???? They’ll probably roll out the red carpet for him. Birds of a feather!

IF nothing else can convince people that we need to shed this loser like a bad case of hemorrhoids, Bloomberg support says it all.

I don't know about Graham at CPAC, but I do know that CPAC has invited a number of amnesty supporters including Rubio, Jeb Bush, and Rand Paul. They have one main presentation on immigration reform and the panel consists entirely of amnesty supporters. Al Cardenas who replaced Keane as the head of the ACU is a big amnesty supporter.

For the first time in many years, I am not going to CPAC. Grover Norquist is the puppet master of CPAC.

Sen. Lindsey Graham is getting some home-state aid from New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg

I remember his cave during the impeachment mess and his curious rise in stature since, but add to that Bloomberg's support, his comments about Rand Paul, his reach arounds across the aisle while tag teaming with Juan McStain...all that and more puts him well past his expiration date.

No matter who stands up to challenge Lindsey, s/he will enjoy lots of support in that fight.

And don’t forget about the $2.3 million Bloomberg threw to the recent winner of Jesse Jackass, Jr.’s seat.
