The Joint Committee on Taxation recently released a 96 page report on the tax provisions associated with Affordable Care Act. The report describes the 21 tax increases included in Obamacare, totaling $1.058 trillion – a steep increase from initial assessment, according to the Tax Prof Blog. The summer 2012 estimate is nearly twice the $569 billion estimate produced at the time of the passage of the law in March 2010.

Weren't we first told that Obamacare would save us money? And, since then, the price tag goes up everytime someone else tabulates the cost!

Two questions:

- Why are we allowing something SO bad to continue to be implemented?

- Can you trust a leftist to tell the truth about anything???

Look at what it does to the federal deficit. Mr Prezzy claimed it would add only about 900 billion or so dollars to the deficit over ten years. The latest CBO projections has it TRIPLE that, with longer term deficits at around 6 trillion.

This should not be unexpected. Princess Nancy warned us - we had to pass the bill to find out what was in the bill.

President Stoner told us it was not a tax. But in court he argued that it was - so the law was constitutional. CJ Roberts and the muddle-headed leftists agreed that the ACA was indeed constitutional - but only because it was a tax. I wonder more how this administration can get away with issuing "waivers" to companies for taxes which they owe. I mean, is there any other tax which this administration can forgive a company from complying with? Is there something in this law which gives the administration the authority to waive compliance? Why isn't the Rep Congress asking these questions?

On a recent business trip to Canada, my brother's Canadian hosts expressed shock and amazement that we haven't started shooting yet.

Why are we allowing something SO bad to continue to be implemented?

Good question.

The ANSWER I come up with: Too many are either WONDERING what's happening...

the other group is WATCHING what's happening....

but TOO FEW are taking any ACTION to COMBAT what is happening.

I like that O’stoner.

If there is any truth to the messages that the insurance industry is telegraphing it’ll get a whole lot worse than the taxes. The people just getting along and trying to work are going to get hit with a sledge hammer when they are notified that their premiums are going to double at the start of next year.

I can hardly wait to see what happens then or when they find out they are mandated to fill out a monstrous application for fed relief upon unemployment or when they can’t afford the mandated policy.

I sue hope it works out to be a disaster.
