Claire McCaskill @clairecmc

Today in my airport screening, test on my hands was positive. Got private, more aggressive pat down. OMG. #veryuncomfortable

A routine airport screening turned absurd today when TSA officials gave a sitting U.S. Senator an aggressive security pat-down.

What exactly was on Sen. McCaskill’s hands that could have caused TSA such concern?

Senator McCaskill, this is what we’re all subject to, thank you very much.

Remember, a police state is a safe state.

For once, I agree with the TSA.

There is nothing more contemptible, less trustworthy, or more worthy of close supervision than a U.S. Senator-critter (some exceptions permitted for non-RINOs).

In fact, were I to see a senator coming towards me on a lonely street at night, I’d cross to the other side and protect my wallet.

I’m no fan of the TSA but cruel and inhumane treatment is wrong. The senator should pay reparations.

From a Senator? Surely, it was fertilizer.

I came up positive on one of those hand swabs. They proceeded to riffle through my bag and person with the same gloves they inspected every other traveler with.

I bet she made the whole thing up now that I think about it
just for the “Look at me I am one of the folks” aspect. I do not believe her unless I see footage of it.
