The group includes Republican Sens. John McCain of Arizona, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Marco Rubio of Florida and Jeff Flake of Arizona. The Democrats are Sens. Charles E. Schumer of New York, Richard J. Durbin of Illinois, Robert Menendez of New Jersey and Michael Bennet of Colorado.

These clowns, and the Republican Party as a whole, need a Cruz Missile. It's time for the Republican Party to go away if this actually happens.

how to offer legal status to the nation's 11 million illegal immigrants.

Where did this 11 million number come from? It had been stuck at 12 million no matter how many came it for around a decade. And now it has dropped by a million. I still believe the number is closer to 30 million than 11.

Thay are calling this bi-partisan.

Is there really and party difference other than name between the 8 traitors who are meeting on this.

We are being sold out.

When the border has been closed tight for a year, Then it will be a time to decide who qualifies to stay here and who doesn’t , and being here should be a small part of that.

For eaxmple.
1. Do they speak and understand English?
2. have they been working or on some form of welfare.
3.Have they paid taxes?
4.have they made any effort to become citizens?
5.How many DUI’s do they have, and how many times have they been arrested, have they gone home and then snuck back in?
6. can they pass the test to become naturalalised citizens.

RE :”WASHINGTON — Eight senators who have spent weeks trying to write a bipartisan bill to overhaul immigration laws have privately agreed on the most contentious part of the draft — how to offer legal status to the nation's 11 million illegal immigrants.
According to aides familiar with the closed-door negotiations, the bill would require illegal immigrants to register with Homeland Security Department authorities, file federal income taxes for their time in America and pay a still-to-be-determined fine. They also must have a clean law enforcement record.
Once granted probationary legal status, immigrants would be allowed to work but would be barred from receiving federal public benefits, including food stamps, family cash assistance, Medicaid and unemployment insurance.
The group's current draft is largely in line with President Obama’s call to set a pathway to earned citizenship as part of a broader immigration reform package, as well as with recent efforts by prominent Republican lawmakers to resolve an issue that hurt GOP candidates in November's election.......
Still undecided is how long illegal immigrants would need to wait before they could apply for permanent resident status and eventually become citizens. The delay for a green card probably would be 10 years or longer, the aides said.”

Rubio agreed to ‘path to citizenship’ before the negotiations even started but now doesn't does not appear to be in a hurry to tell us the details of how and when. I dont see a deal that Dems will accept until he does, this looks intended to show promise.

Say they passed a bill that delayed citizenship for 10+ years, that would be in line with their ideas on entitlement reform, delaying that 10+ years.

Candy now, medicine later.

An aide said the bill would require illegal immigrants to register with the Department of Homeland Security, file federal income taxes, pay an as-yet undetermined fine and have a clean law enforcement record, the Chicago Tribune reported Monday.

Once they have probationary legal status, immigrants would be allowed to work but would be barred from getting federal public benefits, including food stamps, family cash assistance, Medicaid and unemployment insurance, the aide said.

ALL OF THIS IS ANNOYING AND AMPLE REASON FOR DITCHING AMNESTY: (1) Illegals scoff at US laws, (2) ride the gravy train w/ forged/stolen ID's; (3) are educated at our expense; (4) get sucked-up by vote crazed pols exchanging tax-paid freebies for votes.

THE AMNESTY GAME IS FIXED But what is really annoying is that illegals and pols are USING taxpayers in their offensive games to benefit themselves.---to diminsh and demean others --- to advance themselves on the backs of working class Americans.

Ohaha has played this game all his life----he sees illegals as the way to drive his legacy----the rest of us are all pawns in this evil game. /// FINANCING OUR OWN DEMISE Illegals getting college-educated on our dime will get US govt jobs-----taking orders from their Third World masters to tear down the US govt....from within.

NO NO NO---no free college education for any Dreamer (or their parents) who support the America-hating LaRaza. Here's why.

====================================================

BLOOD-CURDLING LA RAZA STUDIES ONCE TAUGHT IN ARIZONA SCHOO La Raza Studies does not even try to sugar-coat its anti-America agenda and its bloodthirsty plans to kill off Americans : These shocking quotes are taken directly from A LA Raza textbook "Occupied America" (pg. 167): “Supporters would execute all white males over age 16,” (also known as the Plan of San Diego). LA Raza school textbook chapter from “Occupied America,” by Rodolfo Acuña, includes a speech given by university professor Jose Angel Gutierrez: “We have got to eliminate the gringo, and if worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him,” (pg. 323).

La Raza books also talk about the need for the govt of Mexico to re-take seven states in SW United States. so that the Southwest USA would become a Chicano nation. And judging by Ramos' activities---La Raza is establishing a beachhead in NJ.

YOU ARE PAYING FOR THIS In 2005 alone, $7.9 million in taxpayer funding was given to "La Raza charter schools" via the US Dept of Education grants. These charter schools stress Latino culture, the Spanish language, the re-conquest of the American Southwest, the establishment of the mythical Atzlan on US soil, and even Aztec math.

In addition to using taxpayer funds to enforce the teaching of murdering Americans and latino violence, the federally-funded La Raza organization operates 100 charter schools across America.

====================================================

The Dems tried to pump up San Antonio Mayor Juan Castro (his twin brother is a Congressman) at the 2012 convention by making him a Dem keynoter....but ol' Juan made a huge mistake when he genially introduced his mother---Maria “Rosie” Castro.

Mamasita Castro is a busy activist---a radical ethno-centric anti-assimilationist---a key figure in the activities of “La Raza."

JUST ANOTHER LATINO UNDERWORLD KINGPIN HOLDING PUBLIC OFFICE God only knows the how much govt money da Mayor and Mamasita La Raza are scamming. Every govt budget, agency, and bank account under San Antonio Mayor Juan Castro's control should be examined with a fine-tooth comb for govt fraud, racketeering, conspiracy, collusion, nepotism, secret LLC accounts, and money laundering, wire fraud, tax evasion, etc, etc, etc.

=======================================

SCHOOL BOARD NUT CASE Adelita Grijalva is the woman on the Arizona school board pimping La Raza indoctrination programs in Tuscon schools. Adelita is all up in arms about Raza Studies getting tossed via the AZ state legislature's action...she is the daughter of Raul Grijalva (D-AZ-7) who was just narrowly re-elected to our US Congress.

Raul Grijalva is one of Mexico’s most productive and loyal representatives in our Congress....aiding and abetting building a Third World on US soil.

Mmmmmmm....those father daughter chats must be interesting.

Every “compromise” in the proposed immigration bill by the RINO’s working on this bill, e.g.:

“According to aides familiar with the closed-door negotiations, the bill would require illegal immigrants to register with Homeland Security Department authorities, file federal income taxes for their time in America and pay a still-to-be-determined fine. They also must have a clean law enforcement record.”

will be challenged in a liberal federal court as being against the human rights of these “undocumented” aliens and will be declared unconstitutional by the federal court effectively giving every illegal alien [instant] citizenship, e.g. liberal socialist voting rights (new demorat) and every concession in the proposed bill will have been for naught and the liberal socialist get EVERYTHING they have wanted from the very beginning and the RINO’s get played like a bunch of bed-wetters they are!!

Its coming, wait for it . . .

Yep. This shouldn't even be an issue. We already have immigration laws. Use them! Who says we need an amnesty bill?

Shouldn't these creeps in Washington being doing something more productive? Millions of AMERICANS are unemployed and begging the government for food.

They're throwing us under the bus for the Hispanic vote.These Republicans THINK we'll all vote for them anyway - or "The other guy will win."
I'll vote only when there's a Conservative to vote FOR. Otherwise, I'd go unrepresented whether I voted or not, so why bother?

I can see why the Republicans are so low in the polls. The tax slaves who've always depended on them to represent us have been stabbed in the back by these RINOs too many times.

it will be a time to decide who qualifies to stay here and who doesn’t , and being here should be a small part of that.

Any legislation that allows the lawbreakers to stay and work here, the object of their crime, is an amnesty. A path to citizenship is just an extra benefit.

We must not only prevent the Democrats and some moderate Republicans from hijacking the meaning of the word amnesty, but the public must be made aware about the true impact of an amnesty. The Heritage Foundation concluded that the cost of amnesty would be $2.6 trillion just for increased entitlement program costs. And the number of additional LEGAL immigrants who would join those who were the recipients of amnesty through chain migration, i.e., family reunification, would approach 70 million over a 20-year period, assuming there are only 12 million illegal aliens. We cannot assimilate such numbers. An amnesty would destroy the United States of America with the stroke of a pen.

We don't even need to discuss immigration. We already have immigration laws. We don't need anymore social dependants. Enough of this pandering at our expense.

Amnesty in the US is high priority for the NWO folks. Leaving the Southern border open purposefully was designed and implemented in the 80s to dilute the demographics of American patriotism. Amnesty is the culmination of what some might call a treasonous act against the American people. It may not qualify as treason but it certainly falls under the law as aiding and abetting crime and those in DC should be held accountable. I'm not anticipating those in DC will suddenly concern themselves with the law.

Yep. Saul Alinski (see: oboma teaches Alinski to SEIU activists) referred to the middle class as the "enemy" (which explains why oboma is doing the damage he's doing to the middle class).
According to Alinski, the middle class had all the political power, and all the political cash when added together. He also believed the middle class used up too much of the earths resources, and if the middle class were to join the impoverished, everyone would share the power, the money, and the resources equally (whether they earned it or not.)
