Undercover cops fatally shot a teenager in Brooklyn last night after he pointed a loaded gun at an officer, police sources and witnesses said.
Kimani Gray, 16, was shot in the leg and stomach when he whipped out a .38-caliber revolver after adjusting the waistband on his pants, said cops.
The two undercover officers, driving a red umarked car, had approached the group of teens because they were acting suspiciously on East 52nd Street near Snyder Street in East Flatbush just before 11:30 p.m.

Im really really trying to give a shi’ite.........
A dead punk and a junk gun. Guess which one the RATS blame.
Well if we aren’t going to spay and neuter these feral animals, the only alternative is to put em down. Thank the libtards of all colors propagating the welfare state that has had 50+ years destroying the black family (no dads, $$ for babies, genocide via abortion), and damaging everyone else’s as well.
If you are going to point your gun at a policeman, be sure it isn’t loaded? Clueless writer.
Don’t overexert yourself. FARC are worth more sympathy.
Also, was it a 38 or 357?
If Obama had a son...
...he'd probably be a leftist extremist America hater, too.
Poor kid was just turning his life around and going on a Skittles run.
“He was such a good boy ... “
An aspiring rapper, too...
We need tougher Gun Laws to keep 16 yr old thugs from buying pistols ... < /sarcasm>
Did his momma come out and say he was a good boy, he wasn’t in a gang, never been in trouble, any of that? Did his momma say it was police brutality??? Did his momma say he was an A student,? Etc?????
The author is clueless but .357 magnum actually is .38 caliber.
‘Scuse me while I whip this out....”
They are actually different. I have both. Bullet caliber is interchangeable.
"Yeah, Devonte, but I'm pointing a gun at the cops!"
/.38 revolver? I thought these guys always used assault weapons, or at least hi-cap Glocks.
Only a matter of time until Sharpton, Jackson and the other race hustlers are on this like flys on crap. They will demand the Police Civilian Review Board go through this event with a fine tooth comb. There has to be several ways the cops can be found to be a fault - just give the hustlers time.
No one will miss the difference if you randomly load. 38 rounds intermingled with. 357 magnum rounds. My colt trooper .357 magnum will fire both but the difference between the two is remarkable.
The punks gun is a colt trooper 357, i believe
Did he hold the gun sideways like he wore his hat?
38 ,39 -357,358 what ever it took
Try to explain that to a lib, however, and you get nowhere.
looks like a S&W revolver. maybe a bit beat up, but NOT JUNK. the punk stole a quality gun...was probably trying to figure out how to cooly hold it sideways, when he was thankfully brought down to room temperature.
whats your mantra....if its not a glock its junk???
Interesting conversation but the perp would have gotten shot if he pointed a .22 at an officer.
Gray had a rap sheet that included charges of grand larceny and inciting a riot, police sources said.
Quite an accomplishment for a 16 year old. We’ll never know what he might have become.
23 Everest is right...it looks like a Colt. another quality gun(mishandled by a (dead) idiot)
The cops should have walked out on to the balcony and fired both barrels of their double barreled shotguns into a random area.
That’s how I learned to shoot. .38s in my dads 357. Never did want to try the magnum load.
“Did he hold the gun sideways like he wore his hat?”
Probably not. It’s tough mounting Homie side sights on a revolver.
After people started rolling their eyes the Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms switched to "he wanted to be a graphic designer".
The world is better off without him.
“Well never know what he might have become.”
Oh, I think we do.
The fifty-cent alternative to supporting the little $hit for a lifetime.
How is this possible? Last I heard handguns are outlawed in Brooklyn.
Fascinating that they told the press that little tidbit but refused to answer when they were asked what they were doing on the street.
I wonder why a 16 year old can be charged with inciting a riot, but Sharpton, Jackson, Farakhan, and Zippy can't.
Looks like another Trayvon type photo. 16 year old? He looks about 12. Oh well, Sharpton and Jackson are expected to arrive in Brooklyn if they haven’t gotten there yet.
In the standard script, the “never hurt nobody” stuff doesn’t come that night or from the crime reporters; it comes roughly two days later from the “human interest” reporters.
Darn I would have not been surprised if they posted a grammar school picture ala Trevon.
Scuse me while I whip this out....
Funniest thing I’ve read all day.
“38 ,39 -357,358 what ever it took”
Mr. Mom was a riot of a movie.
He was probably grandstanding in front of his "bros" and went to grab his "package" after a failed slur or joke; only this time he grabbed the wrong "package".
He would have gotten shot if it was a realistic looking toy.
I hate when that happens.
[this is my rifle....this is my gun..]
A short and inglorious life.
Way back in 1968, at the tender age of 25, I bought a S&W Model 19 .357 and, never having fired a .357 round, took it out to a desolate group of sand dunes a mile or so away from my folks’ home just to see what it sounded like. I fired two .357 rounds at about 4:00 p.m. without ear protection. My ears were still ringing at 10:00 p.m. I’ve never fired that revolver again without ear protection.
A note on criminal technique: When attempting to fire, they will often yell blatant lies hoping to confuse those they intend to shoot. They do this, because sometimes it works, causing a moments hesitation in their victim.
Like in this case, *while* drawing down on the cops, as the cops opened fire, “he was screaming, ‘Stop! Im not running,!’”
Which is technically true, he was not running. He was preparing to shoot the cops. Hardly a good justification for them ‘stopping’. In the right circumstances it might stimulate the crowd to turn on the officers as well.
This also works in other ways. Expert unarmed martial artists sometimes use the trick of beating the heck out of someone *while* profusely apologizing, pretending that what they are doing is a chain of accidents. This may cause some hesitation in their victim, or if done properly, also confuses onlookers as to what is really happening.
