It’s largely true to say that the Bush family is responsible for the current illegal immigration problem. GHWB was president just after the amnesty of 1986 was being implemented and it was he who failed to enforce the law as was to happen after the amnesty. Then Clinton just coninued the same and then W spent eight years not enforcing the law and using every trick in the book to avoid compliance with the Secure Fence Act of 2006.

The Bushes are certainly qualified to talk about the illegal alien problem because no other family is more responsible for the problem. And their solution is more of the same.

If conservatives plan to have a candidate, they better pick one really soon and forgo all the “too many candidates” with the circular firing squad approach.
