Afghan leader alleges US, Taliban are colluding [Karzai Stands up to Obama and Hagel!]

Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Sunday accused the Taliban and the U.S. of working in concert to convince Afghans that violence will worsen if most foreign troops leave - an allegation the top American commander in Afghanistan rejected as "categorically false."

Karzai said two suicide bombings that killed 19 people on Saturday - one outside the Afghan Defense Ministry and the other near a police checkpoint in eastern Khost province - show the insurgent group is conducting attacks to help show that international forces will still be needed to keep the peace after their current combat mission ends in 2014.

Remember, Joe HairPLUGS Biden has already said the Taliban is not "our enemy, per se"....

Good for Karzai. He'll probably be taken out for this, but he has more testicles than most people--Obama and Hagel are following a weak, flaccid foreign policy course.

Maybe Bibi can call Karzai and the two can have a meeting of the minds...they are two guys who don't seem to have a problem standing up to the Clown.

Karzai is an idiot. The minute the last soldier and Marine leaves that hellhole is the minute his number is up. There is no way in hell the ANA can hold on to Afghanistan. While there are a few ANA units that can hold their own, the majority will melt away as soon as they feel any pressure from the Taliban.

Agreed. A lifetime ago, it seems, I was in Philadelphia to watch Karzai receive the Liberty medal. He was no one’s puppet, even though he has to walk a tightrope of competing interests..tribes, terrorists, U.S. government, etc. The man had a very strong command of American History and articulated elements of our Constitution and Declaration of Independence with ease, understanding and application. It seems so long ago. I do wonder what happens when he leaves office.

After WWII allied intelligence used former Nazi and other “left behind” forces to perform a variety of “terrorist” attacks against soft targets for the sole purpose of swaying opinion away from the communists. These events went on through the cold war. It would not surprise me if coalition forces in the Afghan region are not employing the same tactic.

Believe me, I’m with you on that. We should have left the minute Bin Laden assumed room temp. Those that think Karzai is some kind of great leader that will bring Afghanistan out of the dark ages are delusional. Afghanistan will slide back into complete chaos the minute we leave. Karzai does not have the support of the Afghan people. He is a dead man walking.

The sooner we leave the better.

Especially under the leadership of zerO. Unfortunately, at some future point well will have to take the same ground again, maybe, with our last nuke.

Karzai will probably be living large in Paris before that happens.

Amen to that. It makes me sick every time I read how many more of our soldiers have fallen, sorry, murdered.

One of our local soldiers says we would be really pissed if we had any idea of the beautiful infrastructure we’re building for Afghans who have no use of it.

Just your post alone sent my blood pressure up. This is why I must force myself to take a break now and again from FR.

Time seems to be flying by at warp speed. I’m not the only one who has “felt” it. Patients and co-workers all feel it as well.

Something is going to happen this summer, as per our gubmit. I remember them saying something about civil “unrest” this summer due to the high rise of gasoline, and I forget what other things they had mentioned.

I believe it had to do with the “excuse” of the “urban warfare against civilians drills” they have been conducting across the nation. I should have bookmarked it.

Bring them all home.

And no doubt he’ll bail with mucho dinero (all of it our tax dollars) as soon as we leave. I’d be surprised if he doesn’t.

Yep. I reckon that Hussein Obama is more of a Muslim than Hamid Karzaik. Hussein loves fighting on behalf of Muslim terrorists and providing them with weapons. I suspect he’s an honorary member of the Muslim Brotherhood.

But remember, Grandma has to be groped at the airport and Big Sis has to read all our email or those mean ol' Muslim terrorists will get us. The same Muslim terrorists the US taxpayers are paying to attack Christians in Syria. See how that works.
