Could the Truth About Obama's Past Be Top Secret?

Posted on 03/07/2013 9:11:32 AM PST by ComtedeMaistre

There has been a lot of speculation on Obama's past, most of which is unknown. American historians living 100 years from today, may tell us the full truth about what Obama did with his life from 1961-2004, before he was elected to the US Senate. Obama's autobiography focuses too much on his opinions on various issues, but gives us very few details on what he actually did with his life since he graduated from high school in 1979. His autobiography was more like a campaign brochure to market himself to the American left.

What is obvious is that establishment Republicans are not interested in talking about Obama's past, which indicates that the decision to keep it secret is a bipartisan decision made by the American establishment. The American establishment could not have entrusted the Presidency to someone with the meagre credentials that Obama has, which means that he must have done some things over the decades, in order to win the trust of the powerful people who control the American system.

This thread reminds me why only “normal” citizens should be able to run for office. Seems that every career politician has some connection to covert operations.

Really, if you have any connection to any kind of “spy” operations that should exclude you from elected office.

No. It was an anti-communist massacre which the KGB would have been eager to recover from, IMO:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indonesian_killings_of_1965%E2%80%9366

The Indonesian killings of 1965–1966 were an anti-communist purge following a failed coup in Indonesia. The most widely accepted estimates are that more than 500,000 people were killed. The purge was a pivotal event in the transition to the “New Order”; the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) was eliminated as a political force, and the upheavals led to the downfall of president Sukarno and the commencement of Suharto’s thirty-year presidency.

The failed coup released pent-up communal hatreds which were fanned by the Indonesian Army, which quickly blamed the PKI. Communists were purged from political, social, and military life, and the PKI itself was banned. The massacres began in October 1965, in the weeks following the coup attempt, and reached their peak over the remainder of the year before subsiding in the early months of 1966. They started in the capital, Jakarta, and spread to Central and East Java and, later, Bali. Thousands of local vigilantes and army units killed actual and alleged PKI members. Although killings occurred across Indonesia, the worst were in the PKI strongholds of Central Java, East Java, Bali, and northern Sumatra. It is possible that over one million people were imprisoned at one time or another.

“Do you recall what Mark Zullo said about journalists at the cold posse findings’ press conference???”

I remember Zullo said he was leaving press conferences and “book writers” (Corsi) behind and going the criminal prosecution or congressional investigation route because he and Arpaio had given up on the national media ever allowing the story to be covered or even allowed to be discussed as a pre-condition for all interviews in Arpaio’s case (which is obvious when he has appeared on Fox recently..no mention of the forgery.

The man's name is a sentence ~ part of it's in ladino if you look closely. i go by the spelling used on the cover of his first edition ~ i believe his son the clothing designer used a different spelling that was simply more pronounceable in Bhassa.

interesting guy ~ several races in his lines of lineage ~ lots of history, and I would not rule out any number of spellings for his name. Last time he saw Sukarno he'd gotten employed by the CIA and had been sent right back to Jakarta to our embassy. Before that Sukarno had told him there are asli and buken asli, and as a buken asli he no longer belonged in the indonesian popular revolution against the Dutch.

He also clearly mentioned that he had been told that some of the journalists would NOT cover their findings and also said some of them said they would be leaving their profession for the same reason!!!

I interpreted that as being fearful/threatened???

Remember when Lou Dobbs got fired from CNN for pushing too hard on the lack of an HI BC?

And the Fox White House correspondent got fired probably on demand from the White House on pain of losing access for pressing too hard on the BC (he went to National Journal and is now with CBS back as a White House journalist).

Of course the timing of Breitbart’s highly suspicious demise right before Arpaio revealed the forgery evidence caused the hair to stand up on many a neck regardless of his prior condition and the autopsy. A clever assassination plot could have taken his condition into consideration.

What could they have been doing in the early 1970s? As commies? In Indonesia?

They'd still be running wouldn't they.

SHE had contacts through traditional power structures to go places Westerners at that time ordinarily did not go.

There are several powerful families/clans throughout Southeast Asia who can make things happen for you. Some of them date their fortunes back to the arrival of the Portuguese ~ others to the arrival of Arab merchant companies ~ others to the Brits, the French, and I suppose there's probably more than one such group that dates back to the arrival of Admiral He and the Ming Treasure fleet.

The Chicoms had already made attempts to infiltrate the numerous Chinese communities throughout the archipelago (which always refers to territories owned by several countries BTW) and had over-reached only to be destroyed in a number of stages ~ first in Malaya/Singapore (remember that President Lee had been a commie in his mispent yout', and that's his yout' eh), then, more or less, in the Philippines, then Indonesia ~ but the only place the Chicoms had any success was Chochin China (Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia) where there was ALSO an indigenous movement of non-Chinese against the former colonial powers. At some point the Russians got involved in this, and at the end of the period of conflict you had Russian pilots flying jet fighters against Americans in the skies over Hanoi.

Betcha' a whole big bunch of people think American involvement in Viet Nam dates from the post WWII/post French colonial period ~ but it doesn't. It goes WAY BACK before we took the Philippines. Many of the commercial interests in this region also had strong ties to the United States ~ always had them too ~ back to the very beginning of European settlement of the Americas.

Obama's real ties in his misspent yout' were most likely with family owned commercial interests with links to both the USA and to Malasia, Singapore, Indonesia, and maybe even Australia.

You do realize tracking down Tongs and Taipans can be very difficult ~ harder, even, than tracing the Dole family.

It’s Bahasa, for Christ’s sake. BAHASA. Essentially the same language in Malaysia and Indonesia (dialects Melayu and Indonesia).

not there ~ here ~ plenty of friends and associates from the region ~ but back before that term had solidified I was used to hearing it and of it.

remember dinodino the world didn't begin the day you were born ~ lots of stuff going on before then.

BTW, I doubt you remember the Washington Post puzzle of the week where they tossed up a Chinese character to translate ~

All the damage he can do will already be done.

One more liberal on the SC and the game is won, or at least that is what the liberals believe. It will be up to the Senate to determine America's fate after zer0 nominates. The liberals will have attained their dream of bypassing the legislative process and legislating from the bench should a Conservative Justice retire.
