This is an excellent way, having this meeting, of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. First off, Obozo would not want any meeting UNLESS he were losing on the issue. He has taken a ton of hits in the press and other media on his stance so far. So, he pivots and holds a hand out to the GOP in the Senate? WHY, his party controls the senate last time I looked. NO, his holding his hand out is with a daggar aimed at the house GOP. He is trying to garner public support against the house GOP, his true enemy right now by saying he met with the Senate GOP. The guy is a three card monte dealer at heart and we need keep our eye on the ace here. BTW, Bonehead yesterday said he wanted all future budget deals to be in the public eye. He put more, not less, pressure on the liar in chief who cannot do anything out of the shadows so he can lie with impunity.

he has this dinner while Paul and Cruz were standing up for the people

Not a coincidence that the dinner happened exactly the same time as Paul speaks

The stupid party yet again strikes because of the usual sell out fools

I think it is ok to have a meeting. It gets some media time. The big problem is the GOP does not then jab the kenyan for no budget, no senate budget, never meeting with the GOP, etc., once you get the camera time. That is the real problem. No energy or fight in the beltway GOP.

The Dems would have been all over Bush 24/7 had he been constantly late with his budgets in a terrible economy. That is a huge part of why they win and the GOP has been losing.
