Cruz is probably the only one I truly trust. Most of these enablers and RINOs showing up now to support Rand realize that this is a big deal and the cameras are on so that they can be considered on the right side of the issue they are there. The RNC probably sees this as a fundraising opportunity and not principles like Cruz, Mike Lee or Rand see it

Is Durbin the lone dem minding the Senate?
Paul is now thanking everyone who has supported “the cause”, even Sen. Durbin.
Paul says he sits at Henry Clay’s desk (aka The Great Compromiser). Says he is willing to compromise on many issues, but you can’t “split the difference” on the 5th Amendment. You can’t have half of the fifth amendment.
Paul is ending this - he has to take care of something (bathroom?)

After what I’ve seen today, this is what the Senate floor should look like on any given day. This is how it is supposed to work. We have been, and more importantly, maybe our leaders have been reminded of this. God Bless the United States of America.
