This is so wretched. Colorado was one of the most "western" of states, and among the most beautiful. I lived there from the 2nd through 6th grade.

It was far from this strange place that sounds more like the last state I bailed out from: California.

How the hell did this happen to Colorado? What western state will be next?

After fouling their our state, Californians are flooding Colorado. It's been happening for over ten years and now, I fear it will only get worse. I need to find a new state to live in. Colorado was a beautiful place to live but it's swirling in the bowl now. Anybody have any ideas where to go?

My beloved New Mexico is circling the drain. Hopefully Wyoming and Montana will resist the Californication of their states.

Every beautiful place in the US, that is fit to live, seems to have an sudden influx, first of New Agers, then Liberals from a ruined state, then a homo invasion.

It's a damn shame. I was born, raised and spent the first 34 years of my life in Colorado. A decade ago I relocated to Florida, courtesy of Uncle Sam. Now when I return home to visit, I barely recognize the place --or the people anymore.

With the exception of the People's Republic of Denver and Boulder, Colorado always had strong libertarian leanings. They may have liked their weed but they liked their guns too. I hope there's a serious voter backlash and the liberals who rammed this crap through the legislature so fast it left heads spinning soon find themselves unemployed.

A big part of the reason is Hispanics. A rapidly growing Hispanic population that votes liberal and identifies with the Democrat party. These low educated, low income people are the same group that tended to vote socialist (PRI) in Mexico. They came to the US and vote the same way. It is part of the same reason VA and NC are increasingly going blue on the federal level (so far). The same problem is apparent in Nevada, and it is only a matter of time before places like Arizona and even Texas are push left due to the sheer number of liberal voting Hispanics.
