Wait. What?

Yes, some Twitter users really do seem to think that President Obama had something to do with the “functional cure” for HIV/AIDS reported earlier today:

Naturally, liberals believe that Republicans would have stopped the cure if they had been able to do so.

The three drugs that were used to treat the toddler with AIDS — zidovudine, lamivudine and nevirapine — were not invented by President Obama. Nor were they created by Republican officials.

They were ushered through clinical trials and brought to market by biotechnology/pharmaceutical companies like Burroughs-Wellcome (now GlaxoSmithKline), Biochem Pharma (now Shire Pharmaceuticals), and Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals. Yes, these companies are part of the industry that Hillary Clinton accused of “price gouging” and “unconscionable profiteering” back in 1993.

These tweets must be seen to be believed. The liberals have hit a new low in stupidity. Only an Obamamessiah worshipper would even think to equate the two. One person remarks that "Obama married gays, cured AIDS, killed Osama. #AveragePresident". What?!! They're serious too! Go further and check out where worshippers insist that if the "anti-science" Republicans were in charge, this baby would not have been cured. And then we get, " HIV was designed by the white republicans to kill gays and keep the black population under control youkno."

This reminds me of this documentary I saw in North Korea where a humanitarian doctor came in and performed eye surgery on people that had cataracts. They couldn't get them removed due to the absymal/nonexistant healthcare in North Korea. After their cataracts and bandages were removed, they went over to the picture of Kim Jong Il (who was still alive) and began to praise him for healing them. If I remember correctly, one lady wanted to see so badly so she could see the Dear Leader. Here is a link to the documentary. Sure, why not. Obama has done everything else. He has ushered in world peace (or whirled peas, I get those confused), ended global warming (it actually got colder starting in October than it had been since last April), prevented any asteroids from coming close to earth (except those caused by global warming), ushered in new relations with North Korea (by sending Dennis Rodman), and fixed the economy (he has saved or created trillions of jobs).

He can do anything.
