CNSNews.com) – President Barack Obama won’t have to worry about his paycheck if the spending sequestration included in the Budget Control Act that he signed into law in 2011 begins taking effect this Friday.
A report published last month by the Congressional Research Service--“Budget Sequestration and Selected Program Exemptions and Special Rules"--identifies certain programs that are exempt from sequestration and lays out special rules that govern the sequestration of others.
Section 255 of the Budget Control Act includes “Compensation for the President” as one of those exemptions (Page 19).

Let him keep his bleeping paycheck, just make sure he and his paycheck end up on St. Helena Island for the next 300 years.
In other words, sequester him, not his paycheck.
I notice that obumbler has not made an announcement that he is going to park all of those airplanes it takes to transport him and all of his equipment as well as the secret service and their equipment.

I don’ think many realize how much time, money and manpower is involved in each presidential visit.
For instance, I know for a fact that when Biden went to Greensboro, NC, to make a speech and A&T, before the election in 2008, the secret service spent two weeks, had the entire top two floors of one hotel for people and radio eqipment and all of this for a visit that lasted in the neighborhood of three or four hours.
I would not go near the airport that day, so I have no idea how many aircraft were required to fly in the armored car, the press, additional agents, etc.

This is nonsense. The Constitution itself precludes the reduction of the president’s pay during his term.
Well, it doesn’t say you can’t reduce or eliminate all of his “non salary” items. In fact, please list all of the entertainment he’s paid for out of his own pocket during the last 4 years?
That is true. Everything but his pay can be cut back.
