Well, he is not insane and he is not stupid.

Anyone who started college in 1968 or later knows EXACTLY what he is.

Anyone who has studied Marxism-Leninism knows EXACTLY what he believes, and why, and what’s next.

He’s amazingly simple to read - its just that most Americans can’t or don’t want to believe it.

I might believe that Obama is incompetent if he would stop getting everything he wants.

Seems to me he is pretty shrewd and indeed has a plan.

Exactly what would have happened to Sherman Cooper if his friends had turned against him in Big Bang Theory.

Obama is not Queeg. Obama is accomplishing exactly what he wants to accomplish. Right now, that is to completely destroy the Republican Party in preparation for the 2014 elections. That way, there will be no chance of a comeback for them; in fact, look for Pelosi to be House Speaker. Is he Queeg? No! He's doing marvelously.

Oh, and Boehner and McConnell will fold like a couple of cheap suits before this Friday.

He's a president who is ruining the nation's present and future, and yet he's winning the national argument because his opposition, the GOP, is too unprincipled, fragmented and stupid to present a coherent, conservative, better way.

And he is no Queeg - he's doing exactly what he intends to do. He's also unlike Queeg in this - remove Queeg and you remove the problem. Remove Obama and you put Joe Biden into the Oval Office, with Hillary lining up for 2016. The problem here is liberalism, whose advocates are winning the national argument against conservatism because they have fought to gain control of the education system and mass media, while conservatives increasingly withdraw from both.

My wife and I watched “The Caine Mutiny” this weekend, thanks to Netflix. I had always heard of the film, but I’d never seen it before Friday night.

Extending the allusion of Obama to Queeg points to an interesting direction. In the film, Queeg is a witness at the mutiny trial before the military court and starts off calm, relaxed, in control. Under the questioning of the attorney, however, his erratic and emotionally unstable nature emerges, something that even Queeg realizes in a sudden, sad moment. The court is silent; it looks like the mutineers were correct all along.

Then the climax, when everyone is singing and carousing in celebration, and the attorney appears. He describes the character assassination of Queeg as “shooting fish in a barrel,” and then moves on to eviscerate the rest of the officers as fools, incompetents, and ne’er-do-wells, before targeting the writer as the person who instigates the whole mess by thinking his hobby as a writer gives him insight into human nature. (It is always cool to see Ernie’s dad - Fred MacMurray - play the villain.) The lawyers asks if it would have really been all that awful just to follow regulations, help out their commander, and not bitch and carp about every petty detail. Finally, the lawyers throws the drink in MacMurray’s face, and everyone leaves him standing alone in the room.

The only reason I bring this up is that those of who dislike (and stronger) Obama can easily point out the man’s flaws, his weakness, his arrogance. We also run the risk of turning Obama into a figure of pity, someone who tried to do good things but wasn’t quite up to the job. Not that I believe that - I frankly think he’s a Castro or a Chavez wanna-be - but a successful prosecution could lead to that perception.

It was a good movie, except for the love interest subplot, which was dull beyond words. It was interesting to see Hawaii and Yosemite in 1954, too - unspoiled, untouched.

Ubama is a community organizer who never did anything of note in his entire life except promote himself - - of course he's now in over his head. By offering ever more "free stuff" to his party's base of moochers and tapping into white guilt, Ubama found himself in the White House. Easy as pie. Ubama is an accident of history, but one that has been coming all along.

Our once-proud nation is dead and gone - - the parasites outnumber the hosts and there's no going back. The Democrats have won.
Congratulations, America.

I think a better title would be “Obama’s Berlin Bunker Moment”.
