I’ve often wondered why the people at 30 Rock hold Christians in such contempt.

Actually Hollywood, as well as the TV and Entertainment industries in general, have had a bug up their backside about Christians ever since the early 1930's when the Catholic Legion of Decency and the Breen Code forced them to rein in their raunchier tendencies in film production. Prior to this time you can find some stuff in the early talkies that makes you do a double-take and say "Whoa...they did this in 1931?" A lot of sexually-charged humor and even some nudity. That changed when backlash from clergy convinced the studios to adopt production codes.

Hollywood apparently has a long memory and a bottomless capacity to carry a grudge. They've been looking for opportunities to get even with this "censorship" for more than 80 years.

There was a movie in the early 30’s that had a 2 minute scene of a little girl naked and getting into a pond. That film played on the sexplitation circuit for a long time.
