That was kind of a joke..
I’m younger than you, and from lansing. I remember my dad having to commute in the 80s to flint and he always carpooled. I was much older before I understood why if the guy he carpooled with called in sick, so did he. There was no way he was going there alone.

Any time I have to go out that way, I pack an extra mag.

I worked in downtown Detroit for a few months back in the late 80s....My first day on the job, my boss tells me, “I don’t want to see you in this office past 4:30”. It was pretty much understood that you had to get out of dodge before sunset.

I left in 1975. Flint really began to go in the toilet shortly thereafter. I lived on the west end, which was the nicest area.

It is a shame but ya just can't do much with ghettoes inhabited by demoncraps.
