Here's the link.
My limited goal here is to ask that we not fool ourselves into thinking that expanding early childhood education is going to improve the life chances of the children most in need of help.
This is going to be a HUGE boondoggle, massively expensive will little/no result, just like Head Start (as explained in the article).
I’d be happy if it had little or no result. Happier than if Obama were successful at propagandizing four-year-olds anyway.
“President Barack Obama said, ‘Study after study shows that the earlier a child begins learning, the better he or she does down the road.’”
Translation: “Study after study shows that the earlier a child is indoctrinated by Progressive thought, the more likely he or she is to be a hardcore Progressive voter.”
It has nothing to do with learning or “doing better”.
IMHO
Billions of $$$$ poured into Head Start since the mid-60s to no avail and I just don’t see this being any different. Sad to say but but it is the rare individual that overcomes the adverse circumstances extant at their birth in any significant way. Too many cultural barriers overwhelm most efforts by society and whatever solid family influence may exist. Realville exists...
