The next thing to do is to kill Brennan's nomination on the grounds of his secret (and thus ILLEGAL) wars in Libya and Syria being the cause of the disaster in Benghazi. We simply must expose the motive for the passive murder of an American ambassador directly into the White House.

I watched the show this morning. Woodward also confirmed that it was Bronco Bama who dreamed up the sequester idea.
At the same time, John McCain was on Press the Meat assuring David Gregory that Hagel would be confirmed as soon as they all got back from recess.
Some people don’t have the decency to know when they’re not wanted (Hagel), and others don’t have the intelligence and honor and dignity to admit when they’re so wrong (Obama).
The vote of the Jewish Democratic Senators will be a watershed event and of great interest to future historians.
I’m worried that McCain and Graham will fold after making noises and vote for cloture along with a few other liberal Republicans. The Rats will be told to get in line by the White House and they will follow orders. This will rise or fall on the Republicans not folding and agreeing to some deal that will allow a floor vote.

I think it’s not going to happen. The Republicans must split the interests of congress Dems from Obama and this is how to do it.
I think the fact that they filibustered once, and are saying NO to changing sequestration means they might be growing a spine. It might be Cruz helping this happen.
Hagel appears to be a mental midget devoid of ethics and a person who resents anyone smarter than him which includes at least more than half of the population. Hagel is the poster child for evidence that intelligence is not required to be successful and that it can be done on the basis of other factors. Those factors don’t appear to require being a “people person” either.
Hagel, if approved, will only surround himself with people less intelligent than he is and will punish anyone who is not in that category. This is completely in line with obastard’s plans to destroy from within. McLame is a willing accomplice to the plan.
Hagel and Obama could start loading many Jewish-American voters into boxcars, and they'd be thanked graciously for the free ride.
You have to wonder...what was going through the mind of the President and staff when the sequestration idea was first tossed around as an option. They had to have some motive and indication of where things were going to go if this was implemented, and it had to agree with their agenda. I suspect that they realize the economic swing of the nation has now put them into a very difficult situation...with unemployment climbing again, and things looking dismal for November 2014.
Exactly why the petulant Lil brat will do ANYTHING to buy off one more Republican to get Hagel nominated.
I predict McCain and Graham will fold, if for no other reason to show Ted Cruz who is boss and to keep Cruz from getting any credit for derailing Hagel.
Yes and McCain and Graham jumped all over Cruz for daring to ask tough questions to Hagel about finances and donations I believe. When do we EVER see a democrat critisizing another DEM—NEVER. We finally have someone that is standing up to the BO administration and these two try to sabatoge it. That’s why we need new blood in the Senate. The old “be a gentleman” rules don’t work with a bunch of Marxists. They use it against us and people like Graham and McCain are too stupid to figure that out.
Whenever I hear McCain’s name, I think of this from 2008: “John McCain telling voters they have nothing to fear with Barack Obama in the White House.”
With the rest of us yelling at the top of our lungs that there was plenty to fear, McCain is either a liar or a complete idiot.

I'm seeing a possible split between the lovebirds. Smoke signals from this morning's talking head shows suggest Graham is digging in, and McInsane is saying he wants to cave after recess. McInsane will bring enough Senators to collapse to opposition to Hagel, and I predicted this a week ago.

That’s not what HotAir is saying. They have Woodward saying that senators are calling the WH and asking IF they are withdrawing Hagel’s name. HotAir is not saying that the Dems are demanding or even asking for Hagel’s withdrawal.
The dems having nothing to worry about, republicans will confirm hagel as soon as they return, guaranteed.
