Interesting pic but....that amount of square yardage would be nowhere enough to move a 90,000 ton CV. Unless there was a hurricane providing a tail wind.

Note the jets along the PORT side, mostly facing the bow. They will spin up and provide an amount of aft thrust, helping to move the carrier.
I watched the same process assist in docking the U.S.S. MIDWAY in Yokusuka harbor in 1955. Noisy as hell, but it was a big help to the tugs.
Also lots of room down below for Ben Hur and the other convict oarsmen.
