Another one bites the pillow
The lede just below this one concerned that soldier killed in Chicago protecting a baby.
Sure glad the t*rds in the Illinois senate have their priorities set straight.
I really hope we have the names and addresses of all of these bottom-dwellers after Revolution II starts.
This is a one sided fight. The media won’t report the reality of same sex attraction. The marriages don’t work, see this study from Denmark: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19008504
They already got civil unions as a compromise. They’re bad for children and even themselves, yet the only arguments you hear about are we’re in love,
It’s not normal and it isn’t good and we have the science to show as much.
America would be soooooooooo much better off if these outstanding state legislators were picking our Senators for us. < / sarcasm>
I thought newlyweds already liked to have sex at the same time with each other. Now they’re making that a law?/mock cluelessness
Illinois’ new state motto should be: “Now you really can go f**k yourself”.
Crass, crude, and outrageous, but that slogan would be the truth.
Why not? Obama and his marxist minions have told the American people to go screw themselves for the past 5 years, and have gotten away with it.
Meanwhile they screw the working class with more taxes, more controls, regulations, laws, and threats of federal “boots on the neck” enforcement tactics.
When is the next WACO going to happen? Taking bets now.
what difference does it make?
Shouldn’t they be more concerned with more important things like the murder rate in Chicago?
Not dat there's anything wrong with that.

Do we know how each senator voted? More to the point, how many pro-marriage Dems and pro-gay RINOs?
I copied this from www.illinoisreview.com: “SPRINGFIELD - The Illinois Senate voted to legalize gay marriages in Illinois Thursday, with 33 Democrats and 1 Republican - freshman Senator Jason Barickman of Bloomington - in support and 18 Republicans and 3 Democrats - Forby, Haine and Sullivan - in opposition.
SB 10 will next be heard in the Illinois House.”
Thanks.
So Napoleon Harris voted for it? As did every other black Democrat? Boy, black Democrats sure have done a 180 on the issue after Obama came out in favor of same-sex marriage.
It is embarrassing that the only Dems to vote to preserve traditional marriage were three culturally conservative Senators from Downstate (representing seats that the RATs have no business holding). Not even a state senator from the Polish-Irish-Italian neighborhoods of Chicago (Lipinski Country)?
And Barickman should be targeted for defeat in the GOP primary.
Sen. Barickman can run in 2014, and he’ll probably have a primary opponent.
It still amuses me that that guy they called “half-white with a weird name” in 2000 is now the undisputed King of Black People.
From the same state that brought us the Saint Valentine’s Day massacre(1929).
Well the black Democrat politicians anyway (if Obama supports it, it MUST be good!). Six black Democrat pastors from Chicago testified against the bill and said they would urge their congregations to stay home if the RATs passed this bill. ( http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2013/01/07/black-ministers-urge-illinois-lawmakers-to-vote-down-same-sex-marriage/ ) RATs say its an idle threat.
Black RAT State Sen. James Meeks was vehemently against gay marriage, but he's no longer in office (don't know if he's still vehemently against gay marriage either, I never trusted the guy since he's Jesse Jackson Sr.'s right hand man at Rainbow-PUSH)

My newly elected RAT State Senator (Bill Cunningham of Chicago) represents a large chunk of Lipinski's turf, and ran as a supposedly "pro-life, socially conservative" RAT. His GOP opponent Dr. Bellar essentially said he was full of crap and not really pro-life because he voted against cutting off funding for abortion when he was a state Rep. I also figured Cunningham would sell out on this. I'm even more disappointed with the previous, outgoing RAT state Senator, since he actually DID vote pretty reliably "conservative" on social issues and was Vice Principal of a Catholic H.S., but he also caved on gay marriage during the initial vote of the lame duck session. Hard to believe that a little over a decade ago, this district was represented by one of the most conservative state Senators, Republican Patrick O'Malley (represented IL-18 from 1993-2003). Oh, how Illinois has fallen.
I do think the Mark Kirk wing of the GOP is just emboldening the RATs to move further leftward on social issues, since they're making it socially acceptable to vote like Jan Schakowsky on social issues and claim to be "thoughtful and socially moderate" when they're supporting garbage like abortion for gender selection. The mainstream media is happy to vouch for them. And don't forget our RINO combiner "Republican" Party Chairman actually actively lobbied the State legislature to vote FOR gay marriage. He got an even bigger slap down than Cameron did in the UK, since so far only 1 Republican has sided with the RINO chairman.
>> And Barickman should be targeted for defeat in the GOP primary. <<
He should, Shane Cultra was the real conservative in that race but was unfortunately redistricted in with phony conservative Barickman. I heard he's not up for re-election until 2017 at the earliest though. This punk is a textbook example why we need REAL recall laws in Illinois. The weird thing is RINOs considerably worse than Barickman voted the right way on this one.

Still better than the Dem opposition they got in the NY State Senate when they legalized gay marriage. There you had only ONE RAT State Senator (Ruben Diaz) oppose it. This country has really moved to the left and is really going down the tubes. When ultra-commie Howard Dean was governor of ultra-commie Vermont, even if he wouldn’t openly say he supported gay marriage (merely “civil unions”)
And speaking of Diaz, Illinois own “Hispanic leader” in the state senate, Martin Sandoval, used his gay marriage speech to mock the Catholic Church and condemn Pope Benedict. I’m sure all those “devoutly Catholic, socially conservative hispanics who vote Democrat for economic reasons” in Chicago will be raising hell about it. Right.

This turd actually had the gall to say: “My wife and I are Christians, and because of our faith, we believe a marriage is between and man and a woman.”

I’m guessing he’s “personally against” it. Well, I personally think a man has no right to own another man, Mr. Lincoln, but if my next door neighbor wants to whip and beat his slave all day, I can’t stop him, right Senator Barickman?
IL has RINO state senators who voted against gender-selection abortions? I didn’t know that Justin Amash was in the IL state senate.
As for recall elections, you really, really don’t want to adopt that monstrosity. You’re assuming that it will be used solely to recall corrupt officers or those who backstabbed their constituents, but look at what happened in WI.
