Only way would be dental records. I suppose they could have an expert on scene with dental records.

The guy was a walking advertisement for steroids supplements, kinda hard to miss even if he was 300 pounds of extremely well done. Probably ate a bullet just before his body burst from the heat like an overcooked sausage.

They could probably pretty much tell if it was a LARGE charred body. Fires like that don't usually consume everything, just extremities. I'm sure that he's not a pretty sight though.
