Barack Obama speaks at 9 p.m. EST. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) gives the GOP response after Obama speaks. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) gives the Tea Party Express response around 10 p.m.

I will add you to my ping list, proud American in Canada, however I don't do that much pinging these days. Unfortunately there's been a problem with Free Republic's software (?) for a long time now... every time I ping my long list of FReepers, my pings post as a double, triple or even quadruple post when I hit the Post button only once. It happens to other FReeper FRiends here who also run ping lists as well.
It's extremely annoying... I don't know how to fix it.
It's a shame... I've had that ping list since 2000, and because of this annoying problem, I rarely use it now.

Nutmeg - someone started a thread about the ping list runners making multiple posts and this has worked for me, and my combined lists are over 360 people! No more doubles and triples.
Do your thing, hit “post”, count to 10 or 15, hit the back button, and refresh the thread.
Voila - one ping. Do it a few times and you’ll quickly get the hang of it.
I voted in that BING Pulse thing live vote during the SOTU speech (on our iPad)... it was fun.
Although I'm a female Republican, I said I was an "Independent or Other" female.
I just kept hitting "Very Negative" every 5 seconds, throughout the entire speech. LOL

Hispanics voted 71%-27% for Obama. Among 18-29 voters Hispanics voted 74%-23%.
With out of wedlock birth rates of 50% and the highest school dropout rates of any group, Hispanics are a natural Dem constituency.
I actually watch some of the actual SOTU address... watching the stream online with the Frank Lutz dial-o-matic poll group stuff... So many times the line for the Democrats was off the chart gushing over everything... but the alleged Republican aligned voters barely ever went below 45% approval... Everyone is a braindead zombie anymore.
Re the five o’clock shadow ... I think one of Rubio’s big image problems is the fact that he looks twelve. Maybe 22 on a good day. I think the slight stubble was on purpose. It made him look at least 30! LOL! (Seriously, it did age his face. I think his slight stubble was very carefully cultivated for the occasion.)

I know that obozo will not agree to any part of the immigration reform that Marco Rubio and the Republicans/Conservatives are proposing, and Marco Rubio said he will not sign on to anything that obozo proposes that does not state that the border fencing will be completely finished before any bill will be signed. Bottom line, obozo has to go b/4 we can discuss this bill further. There will be no progress until obozo is removed from office. And, yes, livius, you are so right in that the Hispanic is bypassing the black man in terms of ambition and desire to work hard to achieve the American dream. It is the Hispanic who owns the many businesses that are thriving, his kids are going to school...you do have Hispanic crime and gangs, BUT,on the whole, the Hispanic family, the Hispanic business community outnumbers, outperforms the black family in all areas of achievement.
