John B. Judis and Ruy Teixeira are not familiar with some of Jonathan Last’s earlier essays.

Every writer at “Weekly Standard” spills gallons of ink each year trying to camouflage or sweeten the deadly political poison of massive legal immigration and Amnesty.

Then, in 2011, Mr. Last suddenly slapped his knee and exclaimed, “I know the solution! We'll bribe Americans to have more babies!”

His premise is absurd.

Originally, he wanted white Conservatives to support the mass immigration of millions of new Democrats.

But now, now, he wants white Conservatives to subsidize the birth of millions of home grown baby Democrats.

Jonathan Last is a smart guy and a center-right Republican.

But on the issue of immigration, he is a political disaster!
