It’s actually quite brilliant. Campaigns cost money. It allows them to target specific messages to specific people. It saves them a ton of money. It is particularly effective in a society where people don’t communicate with their neighbors and fellow citizens. It used to be that politics was about selecting the best person for a job. And the best person was the candidate who would get the most effective and efficient use out of the taxpayer’s hard earned dollars. Now, politics is all about voting for the person who will give me the most stuff.

Don't laugh. This how they won in 2012. While the pubbies were vacationing and jerking around, the 'rats were hard at work mining information and boring tunnels to undermine the entire republic.

If the einsteins of the GOP don't wise up, the same thing will happen in 2016.

These thugs are like the SS and the Gestapo, the ultimate bureaucrats, devoid of humanity or any human attribute.

We keep making the mistake of thinking that the Democrats want to turn this country into a socialist prison. Do you think they really want to be wardens in a socialist prison? Of course not. They just want to loot the public treasury for their own benefit. In order to maintain their access to the public treasury, they have to receive greater than 50% of the vote. To them, winning 52% of the vote is overkill and a waste of their resources. This database will allow them to win elections with a minimum expense. The Democrats have become high-tech thieves.

Thanks Maxine. You are always soooo entertaining.

Ahh, "Mad" Maxine... the comical commie.

They're going to go down with that database and the concerns of those people because they can't get around it.

Ummm... huh?

I think Mad Max found her flag... she has her "happy face" on.

No one has mentioned that the Presidential pig we know nothing about seems to know someting about everyone else.

No surprise, but when does the Media start looking for Obama’s background?

The United States of America is being sold down the river by the very “free press” that should be saving us.

If only ONE media resource told us he truth or looked for the truth we would be rid of this a-hole.

If only ONE Congress Critter would give us standing before a Court of Law Obama would be history.

Something I noticed on my husband’s Twitter feed during the election was misinformation spread among the black population. The Trayvon Martin case was used to shore up the black vote. The black female in Louisiana who set herself on fire and blamed the Klan was another. I saw numerous black athletes retweet incorrect inflammatory information. Someone who knows how to push their buttons deliberately set out to manipulate them.

My comments may not sit well some on FR - but here goes anyway.

I am not in disagreement with some of what Maxine Waters is talking about. I’m speaking from a Minnesota perspective of course. Our state GOP database is crap. A few years ago, I wrote a letter to the state chair, advocating a number of changes.

I suggested that we start ID’ing voters by race. Is Voter A a black guy? Is Voter C an Hispanic woman? If they are, code ‘em as such. Based on demographic trends, that’ll label them as a Democrat voter. Now I am painting a broad brush here. Not all Hispanic women are gonna vote Democrat - but the vast majority of them will.

Let’s start ID’ing voters by whether they were a veteran. Now obviously not all veterans are gonna vote GOP but a majority of them will.

Let’s start ID’ing voters by religion. Obviously, an evangelical is strongly likely to vote GOP whereas an ID’d Catholic may be hit or miss.

There are lots of other ways to ID potential voters. But what we truly need is a well-oiled database where we can identify potential GOP voters and tailor a message to them that will m ake them vote OUR way.

For those of you on the civil libertarian side, let’s be clear. I’m not advocating a database in which we know how much credit card debt a Ronald Smith in Frankfort Kentucky has or what kind of underwear a Kathy Smith in Frankfort Kentucky wears. That kind of info is useless.

I think we could start winning more elections if we truly know who our voters are. It’ll take a lot of leg work and truth be told, we won’t be able to identify every potential GOP or Dem voter - but it’s a start that we should consider.

Why don’t we do what they do - get the job of counting the votes.

The “powerful” database must have been available to Bush, Cheney, McCain, Romney and the GOP.

“Register databases, not guns!”

Seriously, congress needs to pass a very restrictive law on both the circumstances that personal information can be collected, and what types of data can be databased, and for how long, with serious penalties for violating the law.

It is not unreasonable that databases that contain information on people across state lines should be federally regulated; and those limited to a single state should be regulated by that state.

This includes licensing databases and recording to what uses that information is put.

Registering a database should be no more difficult than filling out corporate income taxes.

Can we please not take this screeching one-cell ameba, Maxine Waters, seriously. She’s the one who believes that the flag the astronauts planted on Mars (sic) is fake.

Whack-a-Nut Waters’ howling aside. Just another distraction from a communist off their meds. She can howl about 2016 but 2014 is fast approaching and is more important. Keeping the House and taking back the Senate should be the goal of conservatives.

Plus I’d not be surprised if BHO is already laying the ground work for another go at voter fraud in 2014 with the goal of flipping the House and holding the Senate.

BHO’s 2012 campaign committee has morphed into a non-profit PAC, instead of dissolving. Link: http://www.newsmax.com/Politics/Obama-campaign-PAC-support/2013/01/18/id/472145

So while most of America is debating gun rights, sequestration of the military, Obamacare, runaway spending etc.... BHO’s “new” non-profit is quietly laying the groundwork to repeat the 2012 elections in 2014, at the state and local level. While at the same time putting road blocks to Voter ID laws, which would destroy the demorats efforts at stealing another election.

Maxine Waters is a stupid thuggy totalitarian. Got that Maxine? Hey you little dem trolls - you got that. I dared to speak against a democrat - and years before you can shoot us for expressing our opinions... Life sucks, right? Maxine’s a bully and so are a lot of the other so called ‘liberals’... whatever the hell that term used to mean.

Here’s a link to a black doctor telling Obama that the IRS regulations are so complicated that the IRS can go after almost anyone. He doesn’t like that - feels it’s not the American way - and he tells that to Obama’s face. In short the young black doctor is a moral decent American - with the courage to speak the truth WHILE Obama’s at the same table.

But the tyrant Maxine would be more comfortable with Crips and Bloods - they got that violent thing down... that intimidation stuff Maxine likes so much..
