Collegio also seemed to be taking a swipe at Mark Levin when he criticized conservatives who supported failed Delaware Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell in 2010. Collegio said those were the types of candidates his new organization is trying to prevent from winning the GOP nomination.

As opposed to, what? Mike Castle and his liberal voting record?

We were told election cycle after election cycle to support the GOP primary winner, even it if was the RINO. But when the conservative beat the RINO in Delaware and other states, the knives came out. And the Tea Party candidates did better in 2012 than the GOP-E choices.

These idiots are displaying the liberal hallmark of believing the solution to failure is to do more of what is failing in hopes that it eventually works. Their belief system is more in-line with Democrats than conservatives. And the mask that they used to pretend otherwise has been stripped off.

O'Donnnell had flaws. But those could have been overcome if the GOP-E had tried to help her instead of joining the Dems and the MSM in beating her up.

bu..bu...but....what about the “fact” that the GOP-E went to all the right schools, have all the right connections, and are oh-so-much smarter than the rest of us?

The American Spectator absolutely nailed it a couple of years ago and it’s worth passing along the link again. “America’s Ruling Class” explains Rove etc and a lot more:

dirtboy: “We were told election cycle after election cycle to support the GOP primary winner, even it if was the RINO.”

That’s actually very reasonable advice for people on the same team, but the moderates are in it for something else. I don’t know what, but it can’t be about winning elections. O’Donnell, for example, may have been destined for failure no matter what, but the GOPe piled on when it should have been helping her. I guess we don’t call them squishes for nothing, eh?

Things like this new Rove PAC makes me want to defeat the moderates almost as bad as I want to beat the Democrats, but you know what? I still vote for RINOs when they win nominations, because it’s better than letting the Democrats win. Well, maybe...

Moderate Republicans have repeatedly proven themselves to be both untrustworthy and dishonorable. Even when they’re beaten fairly, they try to undermine the result. They’re much like the left in that regard.

But, but,... but...didn’t I hear Rove the other night “straightening us out” by telling us how much money he spent on reprobate candidates like O’Donnel and Aiken?...or was I just hearing things?

O’donnell had flaws? Yes, while she is a conservative she is also a fruitcake. Castle is a RINO. So the pickings were pretty slim. I would have held my nose and supported her but see no reason to fault anyone who didn’t. We don’t want the conservative movement and the tea party associated with the likes of flakes like o’donnell. If we cant find better candidates than her then perhaps we don’t deserve the seat
