Union leader says school teachers must ‘create a movement’ to address ‘social justice’

As we’ve reported several times before, one of the leading proponents of the teacher/political activist model is Bob Peterson, president of the Milwaukee Teachers' Education Association. The outspoken union leader recently laid out his educational strategy during remarks to a gathering of the British Columbia Teacher Federation.

His words are plain and his intentions are frighteningly clear. He wants schools to stop teaching kids how to think and start teaching them what to think.

“We do care about people,” Peterson told his audience near the end if his presentation. “We wouldn’t have gone into teaching if we didn’t care about people, especially children. But we also have to recognize that in the class-stratified and racially-divided world in which we live, we have to do more than care. We have to teach and organize for social justice.”

I had no choice but to send my kids to public school. I spent as much time deprogramming them each evening as their idiot teachers spent brainwashing them each day!

Reading, writing, arithmetic, and history are so quaint.

I believe that every totalitarian in history started out advocating ‘social justice’ before subjugating his/her people to political slavery.

Parents need to start a movement to get their kids out of these child abuse factories.

I don’t have a deprogramming problem at all. The kids see it and call the teachers on it on the rare occasions it happens.

Our problem here is not within the schools, it is within the home life of some of the “yutes” that believe the garbage being spewed by the media. Of course he majority of the problem “children” are Holder’s people - unfortunately they also make up the majority of the student population - but fortunately the majority of the don’t buy into it.

Anytime anyone says “social justice” it is just a pseudonym for socialist. Then if you don’t agree with them, you’ll see their fascist side...

I know! I am begging my kids to get my grandkids out of the public schools! I even told them I will not retire and will work longer to pay for it! It’s that serious.

“His words are plain and his intentions are frighteningly clear. He wants schools to stop teaching kids how to think and start teaching them what to think.”.......

This has been goin on for years. It starts with the liberals who teach the teachers and then passed on to the kids. Put in simple terms its called, “Brain washing”.

How about the “teachers” actually teach the basics of the Three Rs and justify the bottomless money pit that public schools have become while American students are in freefall in comparison to the math and science scores of nations devoting far less money per student?
