No sympathy here...the Bishops supported Obamacare. If they couldn’t see where it was going then they are just plain stupid.

No one wants your sympathy. This is about support -- if you have the guts to give any. If you care too little for the Constitution to do so, then everyone will know which side you've chosen.

“The Bishops” (whoever they are) did not support Obamacare. I’m sure there were a few lefty flakes, but the majority knew it was going to be a problem because of its scope.

Would they like some kind of comprehensive health care program? Probably, but who wouldn’t? Rush was talking about the head of Johns Hopkins neurosurgery, who spoke at the prayer breakfast and urged MSAs for everyone (Medical Savings Accounts), which would not only get the goal of medical coverage, but cost less and put it in the hands of individuals.

The fact that we haven’t come up with a good answer is what allowed Obama to build up the popular support to stampede the Dems (many of whom had reservations) into voting for this.

We have to be proactive in dealing with problems, and not sit around and carp because a solution may not be perfect -— and then end up with something far worse because we have done nothing and supported nothing.

If anything, I’d say the big problem was that the bishops didn’t give it a lot of thought. Nobody believed that it was going to pass.

Great, go pout elsewhere. We don’t care.

Anyone else with balls who wants to stand with us? Stand and be counted!

See #49 and also, WHICH bishops do you CLAIM supported OBAMACARE??? Remember Obamacare is the one that requires employer insurance funded surgical abortion, chemical abortion, IUD abortion, "morning after pill" abortion, etc.

I have little doubt that many bishops don't know any better than to support a general concept of "socialized medicine." They may well favor "single payer" and may be disappointed by Obozo on that score as well. Such bishops display economic ignorance which is different from the moral ignorance needed to support Obozocare.

If you cannot back your claim, you owe the bishops and Catholics generally an apology. If you CAN back your claim, any bishop supporting Obozocare owes all Catholics, you and all Americans an apology. Any bishop who backed Obozocare ought to resign as well.
