I think they celebrate the Lunar New Year in a lot of Far Eastern countries like China, Japan and Korea, not just Vietnam. It’s fairly widespread.
I could be wrong.

Our family is very conservative and still celebrates the New year in March like they did before 1752.

Kerry is a dork.
Lunar New Year is celebrated by several of our allies as well as former enemies, not to mention a whole lot of citizens living only a few miles from my neighborhood in L.A. county.
I'll save my upset for the next time Obama and company simper over Eids (sic?), cinco de mayo, or whatever rite celelebrated by an open enemy they want to legitimize.
