What will you do at Jamborees or scout camp where your boys will be meeting with boys from other troops? It won't be enough to keep your troop "clean." The whole BSA must be kept clean.
If it passes the BSA, nationally, should be boycotted and abandoned
The JAMBRD will have a whole new meaning
We have 80 Scouts and over 20 registered adult leaders. When we go to summer camp, we always send an adult to each merit badge session our Scouts attend to look out for our own.
We usually arrange to attend just one day of jamborees and camp nearby. Our Scouts do not like the Council provisional trips and we have not sent anyone in many years.
We just filled two ships at Seabase and sent four crews to Northern Tier last summer. This summer we are sending four treks to Philmont with 2-3 of our leaders per trek.
Essentially, we grew in size so we could control our program. It works very well.
