A controversial donor with ties to prominent Democrats who is under investigation by the FBI may not have the qualifications he claims.
The resume of Dr. Salomon Melgen, a Florida-based ophthalmologist and controversial Democratic donor, boasts medical education and experience at Harvard University, Yale University, and the University of Missouri.
But none of those schools says it can find any record of Melgen, who claims to be a Harvard alumnus, the former chief resident of the University of Missouris ophthalmology department, and a former Yale intern.
Questions concerning Melgens background are also coming to light. According to his biography, posted on the website of the Melgen Eye Center, he was the University of Missouris chief ophthalmology resident. The university, though, says it has no record of any resident by that name.

Oh, this could be amazing, even by Democrat standards!!!
These discrepancies in Melgens history will likely fuel an already complex series of questions about Melgen, his past, and his relationship with prominent Democratic politicians.
What is there to question?
It is standard Democrat operating procedure.
Draw up some fraudulent credentials. Defraud Medicare. Donate huge sums of money to Democrat politicians.
Happens every day. What does it matter now!
My wild guess is that he went to school - but didn’t graduate - in the DR and/or Cuba.
A dem lying? OMG - can it be?
What difference does it make...
No controlling legal authority...
Those Dems come up with some good ones.
What Difference Does it Make?
Hey, come on - cut the guy some slack; his credentials are at least as good as those of the President of the United States.
I think the fascinating part is that he worked himself through various channels with cash donations. No one questioned him showing up to a party or offering substantial cash on a campaign.
The truth? I’m going to take a guess that we eventually find he has some connection to a drug cartel. I suspect the FBI is looking at the cash he gave away, and how it got into his hands. This all has a funny smell to it.
Well I have only read this one article concerning the man but the FBI is looking in to Medicare fraud so there more than enough money in that to fund generous contributions.
Now if you suggested Islamic terrorist ties you might get me to bite. Salomon Melgen might be an Arab name.
What difference does it make!
pepsionice: “This all has a funny smell to it.”
You could say that about every Democrat and a good share of Republicans. Just sayin’...
Nothing in the Florida media about this Democrat donor.
Everytime i see that pic I think understand why Bill cheated just a little more...
“Nothing in the Florida media about this Democrat donor.”
Not true, the Miami Herald has been on top of this story:
“Oh, this could be amazing, even by Democrat standards!!!”
‘Sounds like he deserves to be the chief tsar on husseins’ death panel. He fits right in with husseins criminal and treasonous enterprise.
...”Who is this guy?
Oh, this could be amazing, even by Democrat standards”!!!...
WOW! Do you suppose he is an imposter? They need to find out just who he really is.
"Melgen is at the center of a Senate panel probing potential ethics violations by Sen. Robert Menendez (D., N.J.), who may have used his official position to benefit Melgen, a major campaign contributor..."
Yeah! but who will investigate, holder is a political hack and the media doesn’t do news anymore.
Somewhere someone is saying, "Why did I ever post that Pic?"
