What? You didn’t think they ordered two billion rounds of ammo as paperweights?

Keeps looking to me like the Federal government is planning on waging war against Americans.

Seems to me that King Barry is trying to dry up the national ammunition market now by having federal agencies buy up (and stockpile?) as much of it as they can.

When it’s ours, it’s an “assault weapon”. When it’s theirs, it spews daffodils and bunnies for self-defense.

Who thinks they’re not going to kill us..?

2 billion rounds for DHS FOR WHAT...?

Look up “Katyn Forest” —THAT is their plan for us.

Maybe Hussein will redistribute the weapons to a certain segment of his voters, current and future (illegals).

Yes, I’m sure they are highly suitable for self-defense. The question is: against whom?

Select-fire weapons can be carried.

Therefore, they are "arms".

Our government apparently has the right to keep and bear "arms" to the extent the taxpayers are willing to pay for it, but you and I don't, even if we use our own money.

Time to push the reset button.

Sure, the government procurement folks know how to use the correct nomenclature when they want to buy something. The propaganda wing (far-left members of Congress and their media attack dogs, among others) pay no attention to the facts and are impervious to cries of hypocrisy.

Check out the Statement of Work, where is describes the training to be provided along with the firearms. I'm not sure if that is common in these kind of purchases, but they're even requiring cutaway models of the guns for classroom use. It sure sounds like they intend to train up a bunch of new people, doesn't it?

The list of interested vendors includes some expected names - and one bid appeal attorney. This might not have reached the final award stage if someone raised a stink over some irregularity in the award. Perhaps an e-mail to Ronnie Barrett is in order; his company is among the listed potential vendors.

Time to let government know where rights and tax dollars come from...

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2985508/posts

Time to Alinsky Andrew Cuomo and end this gun rights war on our terms.

Time for us consumers to demand an entire and complete boycott of arms and ammuntion to all of NY State. All levels of government in NY State and Serfs. Completely cut them off, let the whining by Gov and Union officials start. Hang it all on Cuomo

One thing that many may overlook with the Obama administration buy guns and ammo for all of these different departments like DHS and Dept of Education is that one effect of this is that it places an upward pressure on the prices that civilians pay for these same items.

Hence the higher prices that you and I pay for ammo. .223 ammo that went for $0.40 per round four years ago now goes for $1.00 a round or better.

Obama’s policies are forcing some civilians out of the personal defense firearms market.

Of course his policies are also frightening many citizens in to the market.

The law of unintended consequences.
