Are all these rogue shooters being pushed in the direction a leftist govt needs them to be via internet contact? These guys are all mentally ill, and could easily be hyped to a point of no return.

Actually, I think that (putting on my tin foil hat) that there are more sophisticated ways of getting innocents to murder on behalf of government agencies. Hypnotism, drugs, and outright assassination seems to be employed.

There is a movie called "Telefon" with Charles Bronson a number of years back. Moles are activated by a telephone message to commit mass murder. Unfortunately, it may not be far from the truth. But didn't the United States President's Commission on CIA activities within the United States put all that to rest ? That was under Ford in 1975, chaired by Nelson Rockefeller, then Vice President.
