If arrested, demand a jury trial. Jury nullification is a very good possibility. If you are put on a jury make sure you vote with the constitution.

Massive non compliance is a sure thing. A little civil unrest may also be required.
NYS is the test case. The tougher we make it for the tyrants here, in both parties, the harder it will be to pull off this kind of crap in the rest of the country.
The one man’s point is well taken: There will be such massive non-compliance and civil disobedience that the police (state), the courts and the jails/prisons will be overwhelmed.
The other man’s rhetorical questions were also good: If “assault weapons” should only be needed by soldiers in war zones, why do the police need them, and who, exactly, are they at war with?

I may travel in a small group of like minded people but I know of zero that will comply. In fact, most are stocking up on everything they can buy. Even some liberals feel Cuomo has crossed the line on this.

The Supreme Court has spoken on this issue. Assert your rights, or you lose them (google: beligerent claimant). Every person with rifle in New York should assemble, with a rifle on their shoulder, at the Statehouse. Running, hiding, or surrendering you weapon willingly, and THEN trying to recoup your rights in court will not work... ever.
