The Niners can now move down to Santa Clara as far as I’m concerned. I could care less, as they say here, irregardless. They’ll have to change their name, of course, to the Silicon Valley 8086ers, after the archaic architecture which still rules the PC (but not Mac!) world!
The game was in the Niners hands. They still don't know who they are. At this point, they are a RUNNING team (#4 in the NFL, regular season) not a passing team (#23 in the NFL).
No bathhouse parties in the Castro district tonight. I guess SF er.........blew it.

SF used to be my favorite destination in my youth. But the city has been destroyed. I wanted both teams to lose today, but I wanted SF to lose more.

With 12 seconds left and clinging to a 34-29 lead, Baltimore Ravens Coach John Harbaugh elected to take a safety on fourth down deep in his territory instead of punting the ball. The move paid off as Ravens punter Sam Koch was able to run the clock down to four seconds.
Koch then boomed a 61-yard punt on the free kick from the 20 to the San Francisco 49ers’ 19.
COMMENT: Stupid reporter. Since the punt is measured from the line of scrimmage and he was close to the line of scrimmage when he booted it, 61 yards is not necessarily booming. When the punter kicks a 46-yarder under pressure, he is at least 15 yards back and those yards don’t count.
And YES, Joe Flacco Super Bowl 47 MVP IS elite. One win away from being tied (with Peyton Manning) at 2nd most post season QB wins in NFL history, gunning for #1 Brady. And he's younger than both, only in his 5th season.

Good game, Ravens scared me this time as they seemed to flub later. Unlike the other playoffs where they traded punches constantly.
Pretty glad SF came back. I was feeling sorry for them at the half. Great comeback by 9ers. Nothing to be ashamed of.
So glad ravens won. It’s like it was for my sister, I’ve been thinking about her this late season. She died the day before Ravens started the season and was big fan, never got to see them play this year. This is for her. Will be putting Raven stuff on her grave like Red Sox fans did years back.

Some believe Ray Lewis will be the next Jon Gruden or Chris Collinsworth on TV, I see him more as Benny Hinn or Pat Robertson.
