To: Slings and Arrows

I feel like a stranger in Raleigh NC - and not from Muslims (though that would be very strange indeed). It’s just from a city of government workers, government benefits takers, academics and trial lawyers - a town that went 55% Obama AGAIN.

My hometown, and I feel no attachment to it whatsoever anymore.

I hear ya. My hometown is so liberal that...OK, I don’t have a joke, but it really is liberal.

Heck, you’ve done a good job describing America. I spent much of my military career either overseas or deploying 6 months each year. Now that I’ve retired, I look around and wonder where the country I remembered went.

It’s gone. I feel like a stranger.
