Well stated and very true. Mrs. Bush was a graceful First Lady and when I see Michelle with shorts on with a wedgie no less getting on Air Force one my skin crawls. Michelle did a video for the school kids when she rolled out her new food lineup last year and she was wearing a top that had no sleeves sort of like a tube top it looks likes something my kids who are 20 something would wear at the beach I was astounded. The Obamas are truly dumbing down the white house and the country IMO.
For all the grief President Bush got I felt alot safer with him and now I just feel like everything is unraveling around me.

Cutie pie. My husband and I lost our Westie Lily who was 12 on Nov. 14th 2012 and the following week our Pomeranian Poppy who was 13 passed away. Westies are fantastic, fabulous and faithful pets!!!!

:( I loved Barney. I bet Ms. Beazley misses him. They were often seen together on the White House videos with Barney in them. My condolences to the Bush family as losing a beloved pet like losing a member of the family. I cried as hard as I’ve ever cried in my life when my dog died. She was my buddy.

That’s a long life for a pug. We had 2 who made it to 16; most of the others left us at age 10 or 11. Way too soon!

Thanks for that. I have often wondered if heaven would be worth a darn without our favorite buddies. We recently lost our golden retriever. I learned the meaning of heartbroken.

Somewhere in these 100 posts I bet some wiseacre suggested it was due to Romney taking the dog for a spin on his station wagon. But I would never say that.
