Nylon 66
Whew !! Mine’s brown.
I called Corny's office the other day and said - almost verbatim - what you just posted. I started off with "Thank God for Ted Cruz!"
This looks just like the interior of my friend's muscle car, complete with genuine "pistol grip" 4-speed transmission.

I have to remind my spouse to wipe the drool off his chin every time he sees that car (chuckle).
Don’t inject thought, reality and understanding into this thread......
That’s obviously an assault vehicle.
No one needs a vehicle like that with a pistol grip for hunting.
>No one needs a vehicle like that with a pistol grip for hunting.<
Anybody that takes a car like that hunting needs his butt kicked.
That there assault vehicle needs to stay on the drag strip, where it belongs. :-P
I own one. Had it since about 1975. Great little rifle. Has a cheap tasco scope on it and when I used to shoot a lot at 50 yds it would put round after round in virtually the same hole. Prolly a couple thousand rounds through it and never cleaned other than a squirt of CLP every now and then. No jams, not one.
Don’t know exactly why Remington replaced it.
I known that sometimes I get on freerepulic.com when I’m tired, sleepy or ____?
At those times I misunderstand a lot of things!
A question that someone maybe able to help me with? Didn’t someone, a few days ago, show a photo of a rifle or shotgun with a chain saw handle mounted on it, thereby making it an a Chain Saw?
It depends on what you are "hunting."
.
>It depends on what you are “hunting.” <
Chevies? (LOL!)
They’d like to think so...
History has repeatedly proven the stupidity of that - for those that try to push it.
Yeah, they are PDWs in .gov hands, but evil assault weapons in ours.
And ours are only semi-auto.
I would submit that it is exactly the opposite in reality...to wit, that a citizen’s weapon is for “personal defense” rather than any assault. and that the government’s weapon is much more likely to be utilized in an “assault”, as in, an assault on law-abiding citizens who refuse to surrender their firearms.
Great. Now they're redefining PDWs, too.
I'm beginning to feel the sting of that old joke "in the Soviet Union, not even history is safe from the government."
Failure to read the entire article before commenting can lead to embarrassing circumstances...
Ted Cruz is the hammer. You would never see Ol Kay Baby Hutchinson doing this with a firearm picture. Maybe with a biscuit pan and a can of spray Pam and the horror of something sticking in the oven....oh the HORROR...
On a higher note what about the Texas legistator and HB872. Any firearm manufactured in Texas does not have to conform or fall under jurisdiction of the Federal Firearm laws!!! Upto 1.5” (38”MM)bore including supressors. You want a 20mm Vulcan and it is made in Texas and you can afford it....buy it. Now we gotta get Strauss off his a$$.
Not sure how to paste links but here it is

Not nearly as embarrassing as your failure to understand the concept of a rhetorical question.
Anyway, I did read the whole article.
I don’t mean “where the hell is Cornyn” physically... I mean “where the hell is is Cornyn” in LEADERSHIP ON THIS ISSUE!
Cornyn may have *lead off* the discussion... but Cruz LED.
If you still don’t get it may I suggest remedial tenth grade analytical reasoning.
Anyway, I did read the whole article.
I dont mean where the hell is Cornyn physically... I mean where the hell is is Cornyn in LEADERSHIP ON THIS ISSUE!
I happen to agree with your conclusion -- once adequately explained.
But, honestly, thou protesteth too much...
>> But, honestly, thou protesteth too much...
What is *that* supposed to mean?
Sigh.
You're a smart guy. Figure it out.
Well if you guys oust Cornyn in the primary, please make sure you don’t replace him with someone prone to make stupid comments about rape.
Are you OK with Ted Cruz?
And who have we elected that made a stupid comment about rape?
I think you are referring to Clayton Williams who was defeated by Ann Richards...
We would have been better off with Clayton...
Thanks for the ping!
I take it that's a Kalashnikitty sticker?
Leaning up against the Ritz=Carlton bar, clinking glasses with a bank lobbyist while waiting on his flight to a New Hampshire ski resort, and waving at Bob Menendez in the terminal as Bob heads the other way for another teeny-hooker weekend down in the Islands.
Is this what you were referring to? (From the source article.)
[Article]
Sen. John Cornyn got his turn earlier. He demanded hearings on the Justice Department’s failures to adequately enforce existing gun laws.
I don't think Tick is far off the mark. Okay, Cornyn read a statement .... Cruz made points.
Cornyn could have got up, put up a poster of a bunch of F&F recoveries by Mexican cops and demanded Alien Larva Holder be subpoenaed RIGHT NOW to explain why he's running political scams down in Mexico (and getting people killed) instead of faithfully executing the laws of the United States. Now that would have made points, instead of just a statement.
In fact, I'd like to see Cruz put a half-Nelson on Larval Alien just as Cornyn comes flying off the top rope. That's the kind of double-team effort the GOP needs to whip on these Grabber Clones.
Yep, that's her..Handmaiden of the girlie girls..
Kalashnikitty sticker on a pink AR-15 ...
Well, I'd like to dial me up some of that Texas girly-girl ..... especially one that likes to clean, heck, I'd let her shoot my big rifles if she'd do that. And drive my car. And ... and ... quick, what else do they like to do? Movies? Chocolates? Ammo?
the point was well made.
remember the audience is leaky leahy, turbin durbin, and the communist media of pMSNBC types.
It also shows david gregory for a fool since the picture did the job so much better.
Lent, funny you should mention cleaning..When the Kalashikitty Saiga 12 comes out for cleaning..the Mr usually offers to wash the dishes, vacuum. clean the litter box.
No I’m referring to a possible primary challenge to Cornyn. I’m imploring you guys not to back a dolt like Akin or Mourdock who will walk right into a media trap and say something stupid about rape.
I’m not familiar with Clayton Williams, but yes, it may have been better had he defeated Richards. Maybe then George W wouldn’t have found his way to the presidency.
So far I like Cruz very much. He’s great on the Second Amendment, and he’s been vocal in opposing the latest amnesty effort.
I believe (not suree though) he said or indicated during the campaign last year that he supports ending chain migration and abolishing the absurd Diversity Visa program. If so, then I hope he tries to make that part of the discussion, as I think both would be popular with the public.
Yes, Clayton W. Williams would have savced us from both Ann W. Richards and GWB. They all have “W” middle initials.
:)
See? People can be so reasonable .... wonder what the feminists are complaining about?
;)
I'm pretty sure you are right that they were both the objects of propaganda stunts run by Enemedia at the direction of Axelgrease and Company.
The GOP used to give candidates some grounding on "what not to do", but now GOP candidates need black belts in media aikido; but people like Rove want most of us to do nothing but GO AWAYs, and conservative candidates to fail.
The problem is, that 750 has a pistol grip, AS DEFINED BY THE BILL. That is: a grip, a thumb-hole stock, or any other characteristic that can function as a grip.. It clearly has a pistol grip type stock, but even a straight stock would likely qualify, since you have to hold on to the thing somewhere.
Fineswine has got that covered, she would also count "forward grips" as a qualifying (to be banned) feature.
Basically her bill would ban all semi-auto rifles and shotguns, save .22 LR with tubular magazines. Even my 10/22 would be banned.
She can come kiss my ass and (try to) get it.
Cornyn is a well-connected one-worlder.
Being one of three Senators to vote against John "Ghengis" Kerry for SecState Along with Cruz and Inhofe of Oklahoma. He does have his good points. :)
Actually they wish to buy 7000 select fire,, not semi-auto only, weapons in 5.56x45, but they are saying they are suitable for personal defense. they might not end up with AR-15s, since there are other weapons that would satisfy the requirements as well, such as the FN SCAR.
FN SCAR

But of course the point remains. If it's OK for them to have for Personal Defense, why not the kulaks?. The answer is also obvious, it would make it so much more difficult to take our stuff when the time comes.
Not quite, assault rifles are full auto capable intermediate power rifles, intermediate between pistol caliber submachine guns and full power Battle Rifles (M14, FN/FAL, G3, etc). Assault weapons would be semi-auto only and would even include shotguns and handguns. But in reality assault weapons are whatever guns they think they can get away with banning ... this year. Next year the definition may change again, or they may go after "sniper rifles" next.
Apparently not, since she specifically exempted .22 rimfire rifles with fixed tubular magazines, even if they can hold more than 10 evil baby poisoning lead bullets.
Now if it had been a nearly identical Nylon 77, which had a removable box magazine, and was never popular, it would be banned under FineSwine's bill.
Well, WHATEVER they are, full or semi, by THEIR OWN use of that specific nomenclature (Thank you, Big Sis Napolitano) they’ve now been magically transformed into “Personal Defense Rifles”.
So mine are too. From now on, that’s the only way I’ll refer to them.
Don’t care whether it’s an AR15, FAL, AK, M14, G3, SuperBlahBangodiddly MkIV in Bazazz Caliber...it’s now a Personal Defense Rifle.
Compliments of Big Sis.
