IF a proven performer can do it so as not to ‘embarrass’ herself, shouldn’t the children be given the same opportunity.

He is either going to show up unannounced (with 100 body guards - ‘gang funeral you know’) and 400 TV crews or ignore it BECAUSE IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO...however, that will NOT be his reason for not going....

How about if they got a chorus of 26 kids whose life or sanity was saved because daddy or mommy had a gun? With tens of thousands of such kids to pick from, I bet they could find at least 26 really good singers.

These "Sandy Hook survivors" sure as hell don't pass the sniff test for common sense. How many survivors from the shootings at Fort Hood, Columbine or Virginia Tech would be ready to put on a happy face and sing after what they went through just a month prior? My bet is that NONE of them would be willing to do something as absurd as this.
IMHO, the "Sandy Hook witnesses" and "grieving families" are all liars, fakers, phonies and frauds. NOTHING they say or do makes any sense in terms of human emotion and appropriate response. NOTHING.

I don’t know what the complaint would be about this. People have been complaining that they can’t get the residents of Newtown to sing to their satisfaction. Well Sunday some of the residents will be singing.

My only experience with grief counseling is that it makes things worse, a lot of obsessing on the past while you’re trying to live the future. It is kind of tacky to drag them out to sing, but they get to watch the game from the green room, get a lot of autographs, and hopefully have some fun. Really the Super Bowl is a festival of tacky, why change now.
