This morning, many in the media went all in with a sanctimonious attack against gun-rights supporters who they accused of heckling Neil Heslin, the parent of a 6-year old boy murdered in the Sandy Hook massacre. The only problem is that it was all a lie. Mr. Heslin was not heckled.
If you look at the full, unedited tape (which was first obtained by Twitchy), you'll see that after 15 minutes of the audience remaining respectfully silent as Mr. Heslin spoke out against assault weapons, he then turns to ask the audience a direct question:
I ask if theres anybody in this room that can give me one reason or challenge this question why anybody in this room needs to have one of these assault-style weapons or military weapons or high-capacity clips.
Mr. Heslin then pauses waiting for someone in the audience to answer. His question is respectfully asked but no one says a word.
Then Mr. Heslin says:
Not one person can answer that question.
And it's only then that a few people do answer the question, and do so respectfully.
The full, unedited video proves the media is lying. This is not heckling, this is someone respectfully asking a question and receiving a respectful answer.

Michelle Malkin has been all over this.
Apparently Anderson Cooper got into a heated argument with Muskets Morgan last night when Anderson suggested that the media should admit their “mistake”.
The media is the enemy.
...And probably collusion between this bereaved father and the Media to get a useful soundbite.
It is a common tactic of the left to put forward someone of Absolute Moral Authority, who cannot be questioned, as a prop to advance their agenda. Cindy Sheehan was one from the near past.
I hope this poor man realizes that he is being used by people that will laugh at him behind his back, and then discard him ruthlessly as soon as his usefulness is at an end.
a troll over on Townhall started screaming about this almost the minute it happened.
Other posters caught her in the lie, but the Talking Point had gone oput, and the lie was repeated 20 some times in one thread
And then, we find out later that the shooter worked on the 2008 Obama campaign.
It seems as though they have lost all sense of rational thought.
It's also the same media that helped promote the claim that Sarah Palin was somehow responsible for the shooting of Congresswoman Gabby Giffords.
The real Show Trial moment was after he harrumphed that nobody would answer his question. So some people started to offer an answer, immediately provoking the “judge” to shout them down (”no comments!”) and threaten to clear the room.
Ask George Zimmerman about that.
Now that you and millions of other Americans know this, WHAT are you going to do about it? Nothing?
Yet the Rat voters will believe every word of it.
“why anybody in this room needs to have one of these assault-style weapons or military weapons or high-capacity clips.”
There is no requirement to show need before exercising a right.
I don’t know why it is considered “respectful” for the father to rail about taking people’s gun rights away.
He disrespected those who wished to show him support, by using it for a partisan political purpose.
Still, the crowd tried to be respectful, not answering his question because they knew it would upset him, instead just hoping he would go away and stop lecturing them.
Then, he disrespected them a second time, by claiming the reason they didn’t answer was they HAD no answer, rather than the obvious which was they didn’t feel it was respectful to challenge him.
So then, having been directly attacked, some people tried to respond, and they were disrespectfully stopped.
Good question.
I got the tar if you got the feathers.

For sure. See my tagline.....
The media needed to show that Second Amendment supporters are crazy disrespectful evil mean etc. No one was, so they just made it up!
