The government itself is breaking the law by abridging citizens’ Second Amendment rights.

Up here in God`s Country we got thousands of weapons brought home by our fathers and grandfathers after WW2 and Korea, `Nam-. We got BAR`s, CHICOM tommy burps from NK`s, AK47`s from `Nam- These SOB`s will face a formidible army of unregistered weapons. I got weapons I bought in 1950`s at the hardware store-as a 14 year old- it was legal in NY State then— never had to register anything then. These Cuomonistas SOB`s will get the unexpected return from my investment.

Yes, it tells the states that they can’t create a database either; see this snippet :

“No such rule or regulation prescribed [by the Attorney General] after the date of the enactment of the Firearms Owners Protection Act may require that records required to be maintained under this chapter or any portion of the contents of such records, be recorded at or transferred to a facility owned, managed, or controlled by the United States or any State or any political subdivision thereof, nor that any system of registration of firearms, firearms owners, or firearms transactions or disposition be established. Nothing in this section expands or restricts the Secretary’s authority to inquire into the disposition of any firearm in the course of a criminal investigation.”

No dilemma, the government itself is unlawful in abridging the Second Amendment rights of citizens.

Cuomo himself was born into a class of Southern European criminals. That makes it somewhat difficult to decide who among them are legitimately government people who are there just for the loot.

I know of three guys whose government told them that they had to bow down and worship a statue whenever they heard music.
They didn’t do it.

4473’s are paper are they not?

Some incendiary devices could find their way into those filing cabinets, I’d say...

It's a real dilemma for inerrancy advocates, literalists and Sola Scriptura followers, isn't it.

Not at all. Has Rome sent out its marching orders yet?

Well, they have indeed ignored those laws.

See posts 34 and 35 by C210N and MeganC respectively for the proper response to illegal laws put forth by the govt.

Gun owners need to set up "sanctuary" cities or counties, and point out to the government that whereas the sanctuary cities for illegals exist because the government doesn't enforce federal law, the Second Amendment sanctuary areas exist in accordance with law re the Second Amendment. Then let them explain how sanctuary is acceptable for lawbreakers, but not for law-abiders.

Right, but they still cant use the 4473 legally for that. It would have to be infos given at the time of sale (or via owners of existing guns) by the FFL. Bottom line is they arent currently allowed exc for certain cases to access 4473s. Im sure they could find any number of ways around that.

Had a fire back 3-4 years ago at my local Bargain Barn where I’ve been a GOOD customer. I aksed them about if any of my 4473s burned....guy told me they’re mandated to keep the forms in a FIRE PROOF safe and they were all fine....DRAT!

Yes, they’re paper forms. In some cases FFLs keep them on computers as well. Then there’s the FBI NICS system which is supposed to destroy transactions older then x hrs. I really don’t think this is happening. So thats another sources of infos re gun sales.

I’d have guessed likely similarly about those who will/won’t comply. It’s a matter of a number of things: exposure, what’s at stake to lose, family, job, business, etc.

This is probably the most direct threat that I’ve seen on this country in my lifetime - by our own compatriots, supposedly.

I’m not saying here in the opening salvos with NY state that so goes the nation, but it could come down to the same kind of sacrifice that our forefathers who signed their names on that document put themselves - lives, fortunes and sacred honor for the rest of the country. I see them nothing more than Hitler’s Nazis, Mussolini’s goose-steppers, or Stalin’s henchmen. They are evil to the bone.

One of our liberal chicks at work a few months ago told me one day that “she bet I was one of those rednecks hoarding guns/ammo and food”.

She was set back when I said no just guns and ammo and a little bit of water and day or two worth of food. When she asked why I said because I won’t waste the money on stuff I can take from her as I need it. I told her I will make sure I take everything she and her like mind loser friends have. I smiled and walked away. She hasn’t spoken to me since. Mission accomplished.

I wasn’t lying. I changed my tactic a while back and only store enough to get me a short while until I go on a raid. I know where all my neighbors live that have Nobama or Coexist stickers.

The constitution enshrines the notion that the people are the government. The 2nd Amendment states that the right to keep and bear arms “shall not be infringed”. It becomes then easy as to what choices a Christian gun owner should be make.
