Beyonce has yet to apologize to Chuck Schumer for lip-syncing at inauguration

Her phony warbling made Chuck Schumer look like a fool — but she hasn’t apologized to him for it.

The New York senator angrily admitted yesterday that the pop queen has not called him to say sorry after she turned last week’s inaugural bash into an unexpected Milli Vanilli concert by lip-syncing “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

“I have not heard from her before, during or after,” a testy Schumer told The Post after he was asked if Beyoncé had called him to give a musical mea culpa. “She did not talk to me at all. I didn’t say any words to her, period.”

Pop diva Beyoncé fooled the nation — and inauguration organizer Sen. Chuck Schumer — with a prerecorded performance last week.It was clear the senator did not want to talk about the debacle at President Obama’s inauguration, which he organized and hosted.

When cornered at his regular Sunday press conference, Schumer snipped that he had no idea at the time that Beyoncé was lip-syncing.

“I couldn’t tell,” he said, “I only saw her from the back.”

I’m glad this talentless flake is finally getting a little bad press. Her caterwalling can’t stop soon enough for me.

I can’t really understand what she has to apologize for, someone knew the thing was pretaped—it had to be hooked up to the speakers, right? What’s the big deal? She appeared and she had prepared a song for the dumb thing. Maybe it is her comment on what a fraud this administration is.

Beyonce and Schumer should BOTH be ashamed. How is it that nobody noticed during rehearsals that she wasn’t really, um, rehearsing?

Why does he believe he deserves a personal apology? I’d like to see her tell him to pound sand.

Maybe Chuck U. Schumer will apologize to the country for the illegal alien usurper in the oval office.

You will know a nation by who they choose to sing the National Anthem at their most important cultural event. - in our case - some dippy, squippy pop songstress from Hollywood, California.

Class, brotherman, nothing but class.

WHO CARES!!

media events like this are OFTEN pre-recorded. You never know what to expect outdoors in front of millions... so you prepare as much in advance as you can

The endless focus of the media on this is hiding ... what?

Is that all that is going to happen to HilLIARy? Some tough questions? And Obama’s ‘60 Minutes’ TV interview to thank her was pathetic- thank her for what? not spilling her guts?

spot on, Schumer got some heat and he can’t handle it. His wife must really be the one who wears the pants in that family

Where are the apologies from alleged freepers who were angry at the mere suggestion that she had lip-synched the anthem?

Poor Kanye.

Schumer does just fine looking “like a fool” on his own. He certainly doesn’t require any help.

I agree. Watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, or Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve.

I sort of agree. Performing in front of a very large crowd outdoors in the cold with a big sound system broadcasting over a large area, the logistics involved in that, in singing live is not easy and is often pre-recorded. And I don’t really think it would be a big deal if she had pre-recorded it and lip synced other than for her and her handler’s denial of it.

OTOH, perhaps this what Beyonce actually sounded like and why it was better that she lipped synced to a pre-recorded track.

"LA FWAY" — A Bad Lip Reading of Beyoncé

Unlike Milli Vanilli, Beyonce was at least lip-syncing to a recording of her own voice.
