Assault rifles have become hot ticket items as gun control talks amp up.
Its tremendous, the increase in sales that weve had, weve increased ammo sales, AR-15s, you name it, Larrys Gun Shop representative Ron Abernathy said.
Stores statewide are struggling to keep up with the rush. Even ammunition has been hard to come by as gun owners stockpile supplies.
Theres a lot of people that are scared [they wont be able to buy, following new gun control regulations], and thats a lot of the reason for ammo being scarce and hard to find, Abernathy said.

Did CTD charge your credit card? They are still very much alive (I hope).
Exactly. And the guns and ammo allow you to keep your gold.
It’s looks like every semi-auto rifle above a .22cal is suddenly “out of stock”.
Or at least I hope so, I have a Windham Weaponry AR-15 flat-top on order with a local gun-dealer friend who ordered some at a recent gun show.
I may add a scope, but not much more...well, maybe a front grip.
But I count on accumulating plenty of defensive and practice ammo. It may take some time...but I'll get there.
In the meantime, I am armed with (among other things) a new Glock 26 and plenty of ammo (defensive and plinking)
