Boehner is full of something, and it’s not regret. Starts with the letter S, has an “h” and “i” and ends with a “T”.

Hummm! I’ll think of it in a minute.

Ma!. Get the horse and wagon. We’re gonna fertilize the North 40 tonight!

It’s hard to move forward when you start out backpedalling.

Absolutely true. These so called ‘leaders’ are a complete joke. There is nobobdy on the horizon now who can stop Hillary Clinton or someone like her. And frankly, the only way these RINO clowns will learn is to primary them in their own districts and states over and over again until the GOP grows a pair.

Benedict Arnold also regretted being a traitor - same difference.

The Repubs are just like any of the dullards in DC, they all should RESIGN, including Boer, Ryan, and most of the rest of Repub leadership!

Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) is sharing his regrets about his "fiscal-cliff" strategy

History will know him as a COLLABERATOR.

Oh--please. Boehner is a first-class phony. All of Official Washington has its greedy fingers in the bloated budget pie. Nothing gets done b/c all of the insiders on Capitol Hill are busy salivating over pages and pages of their ill-gotten holdings.

Hannity ran a special WRT Offical Washington living large---Congressmen and their extended families rolling in dough as lobbyists, sipping the finest wines, driving luxury cars, and so on.

One FReeper posted----on a Carribean cruise, a luxury beachfront home was pointed out----supposedly "owned" by Biden's brother----but that Air Force Two is frequently seen flying in. (Remember that Ohaha put Biden in charge of the hundreds of billions in stim.)

REFERENCE--THROW THEM ALL OUT (how official Washington gets rich on insider deals). Book by Peter Schweitzer.

REVIEW One of the biggest scandals in American politics is waiting to explode: the full story of the inside game in Washington shows how the permanent political class enriches itself at the expense of the rest of us.

<><>Insider trading is illegal on Wall Street, yet it is routine among members of Congress.

<><> Normal individuals cannot get in on IPOs at the asking price, but politicians do so routinely.

<><> The Obama administration has been able to funnel hundreds of millions of dollars to its supporters, ensuring yet more campaign donations.

<><> An entire class of investors now makes all of its profits based on influence and access in Washington.

Peter Schweizer has doggedly researched through mountains of financial records, tracking complicated deals and stock trades back to the timing of briefings, votes on bills, and every other point of leverage for politicians in Washington. The result is a manifesto for revolution: the Permanent Political Class must go.

You present some good examples.

After all the work American voters did to pressure Boehner and the republicans to stand up there seems to be two conclusions to make:

1. All the letters and phone calls we make and all the petitions we sign mean ABSOLUTELY nothing to the beltway insiders.
2. Nothing is going to get America back on track if we do not unseat the RINO wing of the republican party or create a new political force that gives people who are fighting to preserve the union a voice.

No, John you are a weak, incompetent coward so you always try to take the easy way out to protect your cushy job and status as Speaker. It just backfired on you this time around.

... as will history also know those many “mini-Boners” in the House who voted again to keep the incompetence going at the leadership position. (Maybe, hopefully, possibly perhaps one or two members of the caucus who voted to re-elect him as Speaker will somehow, someway regret their action.)

The most important thing for these corrupt jerks, both D’s and R’s, is that the game must continue: the free flow of tax payer’s dollars into the personal bank accounts of these people.

Biden and other liberal elites justify their corruption by saying 'they give voice to the voiceless and protect blacks from being put in chains. That's so elitist insulting on so many levels... It's bullshit but provides cover for progressives real job of raking in the green and giving it to their friends. Al Gore's a true progressive - ask the folks at Current TV... Thanks for the ping Liz.

The point is that the last Bill to raise taxes originated in the Senate and not the House.

As did Obamacare as well, which also raised taxes.

That should make both unconstitutional.

Oh--please. Boehner is a first-class phony.

Boehner is a first-class idiot. He kept "negotiating" one-on-one with the man who had no interest in negotiating - "in good faith" would be redundant, since Obama was not negotiating, period - Obama was simply stating what he wanted House / Republicans to agree to. You can't negotiate with someone who doesn't think he needs to negotiate with you.

Instead, House should have just isolate Obama by working with the Senate (if possible) and/or passing their plan (if, of course, House Republicans could agree on a plan) and putting the Senate Dems in the very uncomfortable position to vote on it - or let the Senate Dems AND Obama be blamed for letting the taxes rise and "draconian cuts" to their constituents take place.

Maybe they now can start this "regular" course of business - even if it takes the place of CRs, essentially approving piecemeal what executive branch can and cannot spend the money on, instead of budget - basically, putting Obama on a fiscal leash. This way, House can assert its priorities instead of Obama's.

All that is, of course, assuming that they are at all interested in cutting deficit and debt to any kind of "reasonable" level... or just "thinking about their own future" and the "welfare" of their friends and relatives.

Obama on a fiscal leash? Hah. He, Axelrod, Jarrett and Emanuel already have the money spent---they are obsessed demonic maniacs---intent on demolishing ANY opposition to their grandiose plans.

In a New Republic interview--Obama says "he" has all the answers to the pressing issues facing America and therefore he need not compromise BUT that Republicans should compromise. And if those Republicans don’t compromise, Obama suggested the fault would lie at the feet of Fox News and Rush Limbaugh – and that the calculus had to be changed to force Fox News and Limbaugh to "stop{" holding Republicans accountable to conservatism. (Excerpt) Read more at breitbart.com ...

So, how you gonna do that, Ohaha? Like this?

“We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded as the military.” - 2008 candidate Barack Obama on his plans for America.

=====================================================

Obama is setting his sights high----wants to be another Abe Lincoln (who was a Republican). Better not coin that penny just yet.

Chances are Abe would not approve of Obama's dream of a tax-funded "US govt civilian security force." In 2008 candidate Obama's own words: “We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded as the US military.”

(Cackle) But first Obama better confiscate all the guns----b/c the citizenry might not like having their neighborhoods patroled by gun-slinging tax-funded "US govt security forces."

Heck, gun confiscation is a MUST----b/c the citizenry might be tempted to fire a few rounds upon seeing a tax-funded "US govt civilian security force" slinging tax-funded guns in their neighborhoods (/snix).
