The resistance talk is all huffing and puffing, the Assault weapons ban in NJ had almost 100% compliance, the newer CT restrictions has near 100% compliance by the law abiding taxpaying c**k sucking citizenry.

Holder is going to give the law enforcement organizations in NY State, local , county, regional, state, full access to the entire NICS registration system going back to the beginning of the system.

Every registered owner of a “assault weapon” is going to be tracked down.

The Canadians only failed in their long gun registry program due to the lack of a NICS type system, their neighbors in NY lost this war through millions of papercuts.

How could one determine the level of compliance unless you had the list to begin with? That makes no sense. Seems that your 100% figure is being pulled out of your butt. Canada, Australia and others think compliance is/was under 70%, but no way to know for sure.

Jersey isn’t New York.

A simple way to get around such trick is to sell the NY purchased gun to an out of stater and buy one for cash. Ends the paper trail and the NCIS registration fails. For that matter sell it and buy it back for cash.

What you are also forgetting is the sheer number of those who are refusing to register them. There are not enough police nor prisons to handle that many people.

Correct. Why risk jail with non compliance? I think the Coumo and the coming Ct gun regs will spur a migration to red states.

It "failed" at one point because it was a liberal government that imposed it. Once the conservatives (adults) took over, the long gun registry was abolished. That's what you have to do, elect a conservative government. (I know, easier said than done).

Nice try, clown, but no cigar. You don’t much about Jersey, do you?

“Every registered owner of a “assault weapon” is going to be tracked down.”

And some of them WILL shoot back.
How many casualties are “acceptable” to enforce this law?

“.....entire Nics registration system....”

OK there’s a law against any registration system (I think its called the volkmer law).

And the nics only has names of those who are felons, mental cases, etc., who are PRESENTLY NOT ALLOWED to buy. When the nics check is done, the prospective buyers’ info is what is entered against the main list.

If there’s a match and they need to check more to rule it out, then its delayed (if it goes beyond 3 days they let sale proceed).

Nowhere is the information stored on the prospective gun buyer in the NICS system.

The only place its stored permanently is on the form 4473 that stays with the FFL dealer that it was bought from.(very rarely will batfe guys come in & copy; at most they LOOK).

So no such thing as NICS registration of purchasers.

If there is, then a big fat class action LAWSUIT is in order.

Those numbers are BS. I read somewhere that the numbers who defied the ban in CA were quite high, and that the percentage of people who turned in their guns in Australia was about 20%.

But how is one to prove that which cannot be proven? I know that my number is not 100% accurate, but also am quite sure that your 100% figures are way off.

There are patriots and people who understand what the Constitution means in every state.
