The men will be hit with choices like, abandon the woman to fend for herself or die trying to protect the liability. Look for any female deaths to be fully investigated and any male who didn’t risk all to prevent it will be demoted/jailed/dishonorably discharged.

‘Our men have been brainwashed into this bizarre untruthful idea that we are being “attacked” and “must fight for democracy” along with other jingoistic buzz words that just don’t make any sense.’

"when men start having bloating and then bleed every month, or carry a 8# pound baby inside for several months, and then have to push that baby out, with pelvic bones actually thinning out to be able to do this, please get back to me about how much women can put up with....

Except carrying a baby and having adaptable pelvic bones is not at all comparable to experiencing combat.

Below is a link to an enlightening article by a female Marine captain; she details the weakness of her body compared to that of the men she served with, and how it started to break down.

From the article: "It was evident that stress and muscular deterioration was affecting everyone regardless of gender; however, the rate of my deterioration was noticeably faster than that of male Marines and further compounded by gender-specific medical conditions.

I understand that everyone is affected differently; however, I am confident that should the Marine Corps attempt to fully integrate women into the infantry, we as an institution are going to experience a colossal increase in crippling and career-ending medical conditions for females."

I am no longer young but when I was I was as strong, athletic and fast on my feet as a woman could be but in no way could I compete with even a small man. I am against women in combat. There are plenty of other rolls for women to play but not combat.

My uncle was there with the 1st Marine Division. It was -37. It was so damn cold the lubrication froze and many M-1’and 2’s would not fire. They were never worth a damn in cold weather. Morphine froze before it could be put in syringes. Almost every soldier and marine that was there suffered from frostbite, some for the rest of their life. Hundred had to have their feet amputated. Dead bodies were frozen and the only way the bodies could be put on a truck was to chop their limbs off like firewood and stack them on the truck. Korea was hell on earth. No way in 40 hells any woman could have went through the hell of the Chosin Reservoir.

You might want to look at the Russian experience in WW1. They had a female unit, one of the most graphic picts that I saw was a dead, Raped, fighter for the Mother Land. Had a nice beaver shot war ain't fun nor pleasant.

countless stories in history how women survived horrible conditions and men did not... they have less muscle mass, and and bone mass, and can survive hunger and thirst for longer than men...

okay, so we’re against women in combat...lets stop making ridiculous arguements.....

why not just make the main arguement...its men’s job to be in combat and to fight and protect their country and women and children....

I will support the idea of women in combat IF they can pass the same exact P.T. standards that men must pass. No modifications at all to their P.T. test, after all, this is about “equality” right.

How about telling women they no longer can have any babies until half the men have babies?

I don’t remember any females assigned to the 10th SFG during 1974-1977.
