LEIPER'S FORK, Tenn. - A Williamson County gun dealer recently learned a credit card processing company no longer wants to do business with him.

"We go through all the hoops and all the steps and at the end of the day it's still a struggle to get the same services anybody else would," said Nick McMillan.

He owns Leiper's Fork Firearms. It is a small gun dealership McMillan runs out of his home.

"We're set up like a business, just like every other small business out there," he said.

McMillan is a has a federal firearms license and is heavily regulated by both the state and federal governments.

But McMillan received an email from Intuit Payment solutions informing him the company was no longer interested in processing his credit card sales.

"They either reviewed several accounts, or it was a company wide policy, because I wasn't the only federal firearms license dealer that got pushed out the other day," McMillan said.

In the email the company wrote "Intuit does not support the services you are providing" and then the reason stated was firearms, ammunition, gun parts and accessories sales not sold in a face-to-face environment with the credit card being swiped.

Oh, good. Fascism at work. Banks: “Our government regulators don’t want us to associated with guns. So, to make them happy and keep them from poking at us more, we will comply.”

Maybe the NRA should start promoting boycotts on those companies that engage in such behavior. NRA has a rather large membership!

Businesses are encouraged by government to deny service to those who value the Second Amendment but are not permitted to deny services to those who wish to pretend that a gay relationship is a marriage. Apparently some animals are more equal that others.

I would not demand that the government intervene if a private company did this on their own initiative. I would just boycott that company forever. We need to fight this battle and win - or die trying.

Okay, just how is this legal?

In the past the government has tried to force landlords to rent to homosexuals against the landlord’s personal conviction. Now, these banks and financial institutions are say they won’t do business with another legal business?

How is this legal under the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment?

Moreover, we are beginning to see the fascist fangs of Obama and the Democrats. And of course the corrupt MSM will provide cover for these fascist actions.

Intuit Payment Solutions is owned by Intuit Corp, creators of TurboTax and Quicken software. They’re also big into home refinance these days.

“Intuit does not support the services you are providing”

How has this worked out so far for Catholic hospitals and Hobby Lobby not wanting to support abortion?

You’re right. Privately owned wedding related businesses have been forced to serve gays.

Easy solution: Start an NRA bank. Gun owners and businesses would make the bank very profitable.

I would postulate that the idea came from the banks, themselves, and that they are the ones telling their lackeys in government to push disarmament of the public - hard - before the banks' insolvency becomes impossible to hide.

In a FRee Country yes, but guess who controls the licensing and permits that are necessary to open a bank?

Opportunity knocks! The small firearms dealers could team up and start their own credit service.
